Positioned as a family-friendly option, the Ather Rizta prioritizes comfort, convenience, and safety, setting a new standard for scooter enthusiasts. The Rizta offers advanced connectivity options along with the longest seat in a scooter in India.

Ather Rizta Price And Availability

The Ather Rizta will first be available in New Delhi. With on-road prices ranging from Rs. 1,04,882 for the base S variant to Rs. 1,36,607 for the top-of-the-line Z variant, which comes with a larger battery pack, the Ather Rizta offers a range of options to suit different budgets and needs.

When it comes to Ather Rizta, there’s more to it than just the price. With various features, performance, and range, let’s go over everything you need to know about the new Ather scooter.

Ather Rizta Models

The Ather Rizta is an electric scooter that offers versatility and choice to buyers. It has two models, S and Z, with three variants each. Both S and mid-spec Z models have a 2.9 kWh battery, but the top-tier Rizta Z comes with a larger 3.7 kWh battery for extended range.

Ather Rizta Speed And Performance

Performance is a key feature of the Ather Rizta, with all three variants boasting a maximum power output of 4.3 kW (approximately 5.8 bhp) and an impressive peak torque of 22 Nm. With a top speed of 80 kmph and an acceleration time of 0-40 kmph in 4.7 seconds, the Rizta delivers a dynamic and exhilarating riding experience, regardless of the chosen model.

Ather Rizta Battery And Range

Both the Ather Rizta S and Rizta Z are equipped with a 2.9 kWh battery pack and a 350W Ather portable home charger, ensuring convenient home charging. However, the top-of-the-line Rizta Z stands out with its larger 3.7 kWh battery and upgraded 700W Ather Duo charger for faster home charging.

In addition to home charging capabilities, Rizta owners will benefit from access to Ather’s extensive fast-charging network, comprising over 1,800 fast-charging energies across various locations, further enhancing convenience and accessibility for charging on the go.

As per Ather Energy’s specifications, the Rizta variants featuring the 2.9 kWh battery packs are anticipated to cover 123 km on a single charge, while the 3.7 kWh variant is expected to extend this range to 160 km.

When it comes to home charging, the 2.9 kWh battery variants with the 350W home charger require approximately 6 hours and 40 minutes for 0-80 percent charging and 8 hours and 30 minutes for a full 0-100 percent charge. Meanwhile, for the top-tier Z variant equipped with the larger 3.7 kWh battery pack, utilizing the Ather Duo 700W charger, 0-80 percent charging is estimated to take 4 hours and 30 minutes, with a complete 0-100 percent charge taking around 6 hours and 10 minutes.

Ather Rizta Weight, Dimensions And Storage

The Rizta electric scooter stands out among its competitors, boasting a shorter wheelbase at 1285 mm compared to models like the TVS iQube and the Chetak. Despite its compact size, it offers a spacious seat measuring 900 mm in length, providing ample room for two riders.

With a seat height of 780 mm, accessibility is not compromised. Weighing in at 119 kg, the Rizta is slightly heavier than the Ather 450 series but comparable to the TVS iQube and lighter than the Chetak. Its ground clearance is claimed to be 165 mm.

The Rizta doesn’t disappoint when it comes to storage, offering a generous 34 liters of under-seat storage and an additional compartment beside the flip-open seat hinge for smaller items. The tail section features a standard pillion backrest on the grab rail. Additionally, an optional 22-litre Frunk accessory is available for those in need of extra storage.

Ather Rizta Safety Features

The Ather Rizta is not just about performance and convenience, but also about safety. It incorporates a range of advanced safety features, including FallSafe, Emergency Stop Signal, Theft and Tow Detect, and Find My Scooter systems. These features, already proven in the Ather 450 model range, are designed to keep you safe on the road.

Additionally, ride assist features from the 450 series, such as MagicTwist, AutoHold, and Reverse Mode, have been seamlessly integrated into the Rizta to enhance your overall riding experience and safety standards.
