Asus Gaming F570 and VivoBook 15 X505ZA AMD Powered Laptops Launched in India

Arnold Su, ROG and PC Head of ASUS India unveiled two new laptops dubbed as Gaming F570ZD-DM226T and VivoBook 15 X505ZA, both of which feature AMD processors.

While F570ZD-DM226T is primarily a gaming laptop, VivoBook 15 X505ZA is being marketed as a “perfect combination of power and beauty”.

“We are excited to unveil the Gaming F570 and VivoBook 15 (X505) specially designed for our Indian consumers,” Arnold Su, ROG and PC Head of ASUS India, told reporters here.

“Both the laptops feature the latest AMD Ryzen 5 processor and Radeon Vega graphics, ensuring effortless productivity, multitasking, and entertainment,” Su added.

Asus VivoBook 15 X505ZA

VivoBook 15 X505ZA comes in two variants.

Both the variants have NanoEdge displays of 15.6-inch IPS 1920×1080 pixels, which are anti-reflective as well. Moreover, it offers an immersive experience with 81% screen-to-body ratio.

The top variant has the raw power of AMD Ryzen 5– 2500U processor, with a clock speed of 2.0 GHz and 2M Cache, giving up to 3.6 GHz boost speed. It has an 8GB DDR4 RAM. Since they are centered around gaming, they are fueled by the AMD Radeon Vega 8 GPU. All in all, you are likely to experience a buttery smooth performance.

Its base variant packs AMD Ryzen 3-2200U processor, 2.5 GHz clock speed with 1M Cache, and up to 3.4 GHz boost speed. It has a less powerful Radeon Vega 3 GPU and 4GB RAM.

Both of them have a storage capacity of a 1TB hard drive. They are powered by a 3-cell battery and supports fast charging.

You will get Windows 10 (64bit) out of the box with both these laptops.

As for connectivity, Asus provides WiFi ac and Bluetooth 4.2 support. Wifi ac ensures a wider and less cluttered bandwidth resulting in better latency, speed, and performance.

On the surface, you’ll see the essential ports like 2 x USB 2.0, 1 x USB 3.0, 1 x USB Type-C, HDMI, Ethernet, SD card reader, and an LED indicator. So, you are assured with complete connectivity and data speed alternatives.

At first glance, you’ll love the slick design of these laptops. Since it’s made out of plastic, it’s lightweight and ergonomic.

Asus Gaming F570ZD-DM226T

The Gaming F570ZD-DM226T runs on AMD Quad-Core Ryzen 5 coupled with 8GB DDR4 RAM and 1TB storage with a frequency of 5400RPM. Being a gaming laptop, it has Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 with 2.0 GHz clock speed and 4GB graphics memory.

Out of the box, it has Windows 10 as its Operating System. The laptop has a Full HD, 15.6 Inches (39.62 cm) display. It also has a backlit IPS display and keyboard which are good for gaming in a dark environment.

Its packed with a 3 cell battery which is capable of 4 Hour battery life, which could be average for the gaming and other power-hungry activities. No need to worry as it has support for fast charging. It weighs around 1.9Kg.

You will get Windows 10 (64bit) out of the box with both these laptops.

The connectivity and ports are same as VivoBook 15 X505ZA as it also has WiFi AC (better online speed and performance) and Bluetooth 4.2 support.

You get the essential ports like 2 x USB 2.0, 1 x USB 3.0, 1 x USB Type-C, HDMI, Ethernet, SD card reader, and an LED indicator.
