Asus enters Commercial PC market in India, Dinesh Sharma to lead new business

Asus India has announced its entry into the commercial PC market. Dinesh Sharma, who leads the mobile business for the Taiwanese Tech giant will also lead commercial PC operations in the country.

Asus is one of the reputed names in motherboards and high-end gaming PC business. With this announcement, Asus is all set to offer notebooks, desktops, all in ones, and mobile workstations to businesses of all sizes including micro-businesses, SMBs, and large enterprise customers.

Apart from products, Asus also plans to offer value-added services to enterprises including warranty extension, accidental damage protection, hard disk retention service, and priority service.

Dinesh Sharma who has been leading Asus’ smartphone business in India will also be heading the commercial PC business in the country.

“ASUS’ overwhelming growth over the last few years is a testimony to our Made for India, customer-centric effort. In the coming month, we will be sharing details of our holistic approach to the Commercial PC market – encompassing robust Commercial PC product portfolio across product categories and segments, sales and service infrastructure, and wide channel availability,” Sharma said, while talking about his new role.
