ASUS announces new Zenbook and Vivobook series laptops in Computex 2019

ASUS has unveiled a slew of new laptops and laptop displays in its hometown trade show of Computex. This is the world’s largest computer hardware event and ASUS utilizes this venue for expanding their laptop lineup.

ASUS Zenbook Pro Duo

ASUS Zenbook Pro Duo has a 15.6″ laptop with 4K UHD OLED display and a 14” full-width 4K ScreenPad Plus secondary touchscreen adding up to a dual display laptop. ASUS ScreenPad Plus integrates seamlessly with the primary display, and the built-in ScreenXpert software bringing together a wide selection of useful apps, tools, and utilities.

Under the hood, the Zenbook Pro Duo runs on 9th Generation Intel Core processors, coupled with up to 32GB RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 GPU, with ultrafast storage provided by up to a 1TB PCIe 3.0 x4 SSD.

Upfront, you get a frameless four-sided ASUS NanoEdge design with 4K UHD (3840 x 2160) OLED touchscreen, a 4K (3840 x 1100) ScreenPad Plus and an ASUS NumberPad dual-function touchpad.

The Zenbook Pro Duo comes in Celestial Blue color with metal finish.

A watered down ZenBook Duo (UX481), is also available with 14-inch frameless four-sided NanoEdge FHD display and an FHD ScreenPad Plus. It’s powered by up to an Intel Core i7 processor and a GeForce MX250 GPU.

Other ZenBook Pro Duo features include the latest version of the LED-illuminated ASUS NumberPad, Amazon Alexa voice support, and a bundled stylus.

ASUS Zenbook 13/14/15/30

ASUS also announced the latest ZenBook 13 (UX334), ZenBook 14 (UX434) and ZenBook 15 (UX534) laptops with the revolutionary ASUS ScreenPad 2.0. To celebrate its 30th anniversary, ASUS has also introduced the exclusive limited-edition ZenBook Edition 30 (UX334FL), a luxurious Pearl White model with a hand-crafted genuine Italian leather lid cover.

This also features a four-sided frameless NanoEdge display, up to 8th Generation Intel Core i7 quad-core CPUs, up to NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Max-Q graphics, 16GB RAM, ultrafast PCIe SSDs and gigabit-class Wi-Fi 5.

ScreenPad 2.0 has a secondary 5.65-inch touchscreen with a collection of handy ASUS utilities to boost productivity: Quick Key enables one-tap automation of complex keyboard sequences, Handwriting for natural text input, and Number Key for rapid data entry.

VivoBook S14 and S15

VivoBook S14 (S431 / S432) and VivoBook S15 (S531 / S532) are two ultraportables with ScreenPad 2.0 secondary screen,  frameless four‑sided NanoEdge display, Intel Core i7 processors and NVIDIA GeForce MX250 discrete graphics, up to a 1TB PCIe SSD, an infrared (IR) camera, and Wi‑Fi 6 (802.11ax).
