Apple To Unwrap Mac 2016 Line-Up On October 27

Apple is prepping up to say “Hello Again” on October 27. The Cupertino giant has started rolling out the invite for next week’s event which will be hosted at the company headquarters.

The invite has Apple logo and simple “Hello Again“ text which is clearly a reference to the Mac line-up. Back in 1984, Apple introduced Mac to the world with a simple “Hello”. The buzz word on the street is that Apple will bring in a new Macbook Air, Macbook Pro 2016 alongside the new iMac.

The MacBook Pro, which has remained untouched since the introduction of ‘Retina display’, is likely to receive its first major update in four years. Rumor suggests that the upcoming MacBook Pro will feature an OLED touch control bar to access different functionalities. There is another possibility that Apple may move away from regular USB 2.0 ports and its MagSafe power charging port for USB Type-C port based system.

The upcoming MacBook Pro design is likely to come in 15-inch and 13-inch sizes. Similarly, The MacBook Air may also get a new 13-inch model, but Apple is likely to discontinue its 11-inch model to give more breathing room to the 12.9-inch iPad pro.

As per a report published in The Wall Streel Journal, Apple along with an Australian startup is at work to turn good old QWERTY keyboard into a black slate which may feature in the MacBook laptops, however, that’s unlikely to happen before 2018.
