Apple TV is soon going to be available on Android smartphones. After the Apple TV application was introduced for Android TVs, the trillion-dollar company is testing an Android App for its video streaming platform.

According to a report by XDA developers, Apple is conducting internal tests right now to check and the application is still in beta testing. There has been no official announcement by the tech giant. However, a tipster named ShrimpApplePro has tweeted on its official account about the latest developments of the android application for Apple TV.

Once in the market, this will be a huge game changer as the android operating system consumes more than 70% of global smartphones. Apple is trying hard to expand in different domains, and this will be the next right step for them. As of now, Apple TV+ has only a 6.2% share of the global streaming platform market.

After this, android smartphone users can also access their Apple TV+ streaming content through a dedicated application which will be easy. As of now, it’s a cumbersome job through the web browser login. There are so many dentures in web browser streaming other than the affected native viewing experience.

Right now, access to Apple TV+ content on an android smartphone through a web browser such as Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox is tricky. It involves multiple steps and is more of a hassle. Along with that, the web version of the streaming platform doesn’t allow viewers to download content on the device. As well as it doesn’t support cross-device sync with the Apple TV. A viewer misses nominal features like these which he/she usually finds in other OTT platforms.

Let’s believe that the development of an android application for Apple TV is true and we get the application soon. Out from beta testing, android users all over the world will be definitely rejoiced.
