Initially launched in 2020, Apple TV+ has announced the return of Ted Lasso for Season 4, featuring Jason Sudeikis reprising his role as the cheerful, mustachioed football coach. Discussing the upcoming season, Sudeikis remarked, “In a world where many influences encourage us to think twice before taking action, Season 4 will show the AFC Richmond team embracing the idea of LEAPING BEFORE THEY LOOK, ultimately realizing that wherever they end up is precisely where they are meant to be.”

Ted Lasso Season 4: Cast & Crew

While no additional cast members were announced alongside the season 4 reveal, earlier reports indicated that options had been secured for Hannah Waddingham, Brett Goldstein, and Jeremy Swift. Jack Burditt has joined as an executive producer for season 4 under a new overall agreement with Apple TV+. One fan favorite character that won’t be present in season 4 will be Phil Dunster, who portrayed Jamie Tartt due to scheduling conflicts. Many cast members have expressed their eagerness to return for new season which is a good news.
Jason Sudeikis will also serve as an executive producer, collaborating with Brendan Hunt, Toheeb Jimoh, Joe Kelly, Jane Becker, Jamie Lee, and Bill Wrubel. Goldstein will take on writing and executive producing duties alongside Leanne Bowen.
Additionally, Sara Walker and Phoebe Walsh will contribute as writers and producers for the upcoming season, with Sasha Garron serving as a co-producer. The series was created by Sudeikis, Lawrence, Kelly, and Hunt, drawing from the existing format and characters established by NBC Sports.

Sudeikis himself shared some details on the New Heights podcast with Travis and Jason Kelce on March 14 that in season 4 Ted will be coaching a women’s team. It’s daunting, because we told the story we wanted to tell, but there’s more there.”

Ted Lasso Season 4: Release Date & Streaming Platform

Keeley concentrated on establishing her own public relations firm, with a suggestion of her potentially launching a women’s team. The love triangle involving Keeley, Roy, and Jamie remains unresolved.
