Apex Legends Mobile has already garnered a lot of traction in the global battle royale market. To hook the gamers, the franchise also introduced a couple of mobile-exclusive characters like Fade. Now, the Apex Legends Mobile Season 2 is all set to make its debut for both Android and iOS devices in a day i.e. July 12.
To increase the adrenaline rush, the franchise dropped a trailer for the upcoming season via the official YouTube channel. The trailer gives us a glimpse of what we can expect in terms of gameplay, characters, and other stuff. The latest season of the games has been named Distortion. Apex Legends Mobile season 2 update: New character
First things first, a new character named Rhapsody is going to be introduced in the game. she is a popular DJ and an offspring of an AI engineer. Her mother was fired from Pythas Inc. as she got to know some company secrets. She was further trapped in false debt and moved to a not-so-safe place known as Neon Dunes which was a nightlife district.
After seeing the setback faced by her mother, Rhapsody decided to become a DJ. She then got into the music along with her companion, Rowdy, which was a robot. As for her abilities, she has a passive ability that goes by the name ‘gifted year’ allows her to pick up and visualize sounds from an expanded horizon.
Her tactical ability, Hype Anthem, lets the user play a track that paces up the squad mates and recharges shields. However, if anyone takes the damage then the effect will end. Rhapsody’s ultimate ability is known as Rowdy’s Rave in which her robot companion starts projecting a wall of flashing lights that works as a restriction between incoming scans and sights.
New Maps and events
Coming to the maps, the game will get two of them with the latest update – King’s Canyon and Pythas Black 0. the King’s Canyon can be said to be the place where it all started for Apex Games. And now, it is available for the mobile version too.
To stir things up, Rhapsody has also scattered a few VIP tickets for her concert on the map, now it will be interesting to see if you are lucky enough to get one of them.
On the other hand, the Pythas Black 0 is a Team Death Match (TDM) based map. It is nothing but a campus of Pythas Inc. that is situated above the City of Komma on solace. The map can be said to be the home of elitists of Pythas Inc for the purpose of entertainment and indulging in the Pythas Arcade.
Not only this but the game will also get two new events. One of them is the ‘Town Takeover: Encore Galore’ that shows the carrier Encore Galore at the King’s Canyon map drenched in neon paint depicting the loudness of Rhapsody’s music. Another event, Rhapsody live, will let the gamers earn special Rhapsody posters after completing challenges in the game.
