Android M To Be The Successor To Lollipop?

Google is all set to organize an event called Google I/O on 28th and 29th of May 2015 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, California. The event is expected to be a great one for Google, especially in terms of its wildly rolling smartphone platform, Android. Earlier this year, we became familiar with the latest version of Android, which is known to all of us as Lollipop 5.0. And at this event to be held in California, Google is expected to launch another new version of Android.

Among all the events to be organized during these two days, an event called ‘Android for Work’ has turned out to be the most attractive one so far. It is scheduled to occur on May 28, 2015 at 2:30 pm. The information about a new version of Android was mentioned in the description of ‘Android for Work’, which has now been deleted from the website and is no more available to be viewed. During the same event in 2014, Google had disclosed Android L, which turned out to be Android Lollipop, and this year it is Android M. Though there is no idea about what ‘M’ stands for.

Another notable thing of interest is that starting from the very first version of Android, which was Froyo, the first letters of all Android version are sequential viz Froyo, Gingerbread, Honeycomb, Ice cream sandwich, JellyBean, Kitkat and Lollipop. Although the surprise associated with the letter ‘M’ is no sooner going to be disclosed, but then you can all keep your brain ticking to make a guess and check it you think what Google does.
