If latest reports are to be believed, Lenovo might soon launch two new budget smartphones, Moto C and Moto C Plus, replacing Moto E to occupy the lowest rung of the Moto product ladder.

As the images posted by prolific leaker @evleaks suggest, the upcoming Moto devices will adhere to the same design ethos as the fifth generation Moto G lineup.

This also hints that just as last year, Lenovo will be following the same design on all budget Moto phones, including the upcoming Moto E5 Power that is rumored to house a 5000mAh battery.

Talking about the specifications, the Moto C will allegedly have a 5-inch FWVGA display, 1.1GHz quad-core processor (for the 4GB variant), 1GB RAM, and 8GB/16GB internal storage.

Other features are equally modest including a 5MP rear camera, 2MP front camera, 4G VoLTE support, WiFi, Android Marshmallow and 2350mAh battery.

The Moto C Plus, on the other hand, retains the same 5-inch size but has ‘Plus’ hardware. You get HD screen resolution, 2GB RAM, 16GB storage, dual SIM support, Android 7.0 Nougat, 4G VoLTE and 4000mAh battery. This definitely looks like a phone Lenovo could bring to India soon.

The official announcement should follow soon.
