Acer, the popular laptop and computer hardware brand is entering the TV business in India. The upcoming TV lineup from the company will be developed in partnership with a Bengaluru-based technology firm. The company will launch Android TV-based smart TVs ranging from an entry-level 32-inch model to a 70-inch model.
The Acer smart TVs will be sold in India through e-commerce platforms like Flipkart and Amazon. Flipkart recently launched the product page for the Acer TVs, providing a sneak peek at the bezel-less design. Let’s take a look at some of the key specs and features of Acer’s upcoming smart TV lineup.

Acer Smart TVs: Key Specs and Features
According to the Flipkart listing, Acer will offer 4K UHD panels aboard its smart TVs in India. They will feature a bezel-less design and support Wide Color Gamut+, HDR10+, and HLG. In addition, the TVs will feature an “Intelligent Frame Stabilization Engine that analyzes every frame of every scene to deliver a smooth and blur-free viewing experience”. The Acer smart TVs will be powered by a 64-bit quad-core processor. The device will have up to 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. Chromecast will also be built-in to these Android TVs.

Acer has confirmed that its smart TVs feature 24W speakers with support for Dolby Audio and Pure Sound 2 for an immersive experience. As for the ports, these smart TVs will feature an Ethernet port, three HDMI ports, two USB 2.0 ports, an antenna port, an AV-in connector, a S/PDIF port, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
Acer Smart TVs: Price and Availability
As of now, there is no information available regarding the price of the upcoming Acer smart TVs. However, we can expect them to compete against Xiaomi’s Mi TV lineup. So, they will presumably be priced in the Rs 30,000 to Rs 50,000 range for the 4K models.
In terms of availability, Acer has confirmed that its smart TV lineup will be available sometime in September. The company has not yet revealed a specific launch date. Stay tuned for more information.
