Google Pixel 2

The buzz of Google’s Pixel 2 will finally be laid to rest in the upcoming launch event. After the Samsung Galaxy Note 8, iPhone X and LG V30, people have been eagerly waiting for the Google’s 2017 flagship – the Pixel 2.

The Pixel 2 will succeed company’s last year Pixel smartphone, will be powered by Snapdragon 835 processor and will run Google’s latest OS, Android Oreo, out of the box. If leaked renders are anything to go by, there won’t be two cameras on the rear this year.

What does the recent leak say? The phone is developed by HTC and will be available in three colors – kinda blue, clearly white and just black. Google may price the product at $650 (roughly 45,000 INR) or 128GB for $750 (roughly 50,000 INR).

Google Pixel 2XL

This is the second device Google has been working on for a while, and it’s essentially the sizeable version of Pixel 2. The Pixel 2 XL is likely to include a 5.5-inch OLED display on the front with visibly thin bezels on the side. The phone could also use LG V30’s 18:9 display panel.

What does the recent leak say? The Pixel 2XL will be available in two colors – ‘black-and-white’ and ‘just black’ variants and could be priced at $850 (roughly 55,000 INR) or $950 (roughly 60,000 INR) for 64GB and 128GB variant, respectively. However, unlike Pixel 2, the Pixel 2XL is being manufactured by LG.

Google Home Mini

The launch event may bring home Google’s cute little Home Mini voice assistant device. The device will be loaded with Google’s Voice Assistant features and possibly have a small built-in speaker and connect to your speakers over Bluetooth or via an audio cable.

This looks like a counter move to Amazon Echo dot.

What does the recent leak say? Google Home Mini is likely to cost just $50 (roughly to 3500 INR), the same as the Echo Dot.

Google Pixelbook

Pixelbook is going to be Google’s first Pixel moniker Chromebook laptop. The laptop is also Google’s first laptop-cum tablet PC that runs on Linux-based Chrome OS. You can also operate the laptop with pressure and tilt sensitive stylus, that will come bundled with the Pixelbook.

And, if the rumors are true then the Google Pixelbook may see the light of day on the same day Google Pixel will be launched.

What does the recent leak say? Google’s Pixelbook will come in Silver, along with 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB storage options. The prices could start from $1,199 (roughly to Rs 78000) and may go up to $1,749 (roughly to Rs 12,0000) for the higher variant.

Google Daydream View

For all the VR lovers, Google may introduce its next generation of Virtual Reality headset, dubbed as Google Daydream View, on October 4 (the standalone VR headset isn’t coming this year?). The new VR will gel with most Android phones and will be capable of generating more realistic images, sounds and other sensations that puts a user’s physical presence in a virtual environment.

What does the recent leak say? The leaks of Google’s new Daydream View suggest that the VR headset will be available in Grey and Pink fabric Color variant and Google may price it anywhere around $100 (roughly 6500 INR).

That’s practically everything Google will launch on October 4, 2017

These are the 5 things that Google will be putting forth on October 4. There still are several unknowns, and we are particularly excited to know what the new Pixel devices would look like on the front and what their exact dimensions would be (after all design and build was the major peeve point last year). We won’t have to wait much longer to find out, though.
