TL; DR
  • First and foremost, the upcoming Venue is 48mm taller and 30mm wider than the outgoing generation.
  • The front fascia of the compact SUV features a connected LED DRL (similar to the one seen on the latest-generation Creta), which extends into the quad-beam headlamp setup in the shape of inverted horns.
  • Perhaps the biggest addition to the revised interiors is the integrated infotainment and driver’s cluster display, both with 12.3-inch screens.
  • Under its shiny exterior, the new-generation Venue will retain its powertrain options built around three of the company’s most reliable engines.

The Korean automaker Hyundai has unveiled the 2026 Venue ahead of the official launch on November 4, 2025. As already seen in the spy shots that surfaced a couple of days ago, the compact SUV features a wider, more aggressive front stance, with more evident character lines, new alloys, and a completely revamped dashboard design.

The generational change is quite apparent, at least in the exterior and the interior of the vehicle. However, under the hood, the car will carry the same engine options as the outgoing model.

2026 Hyundai Venue Features More Aggressive Exteriors

First and foremost, the upcoming Venue is 48mm taller and 30mm wider than the outgoing generation. While its length remains 3,995mm, the wheelbase is also longer (by 20mm). The changes could result in a noticeable difference in the cabin space.

The front fascia of the compact SUV features a connected LED DRL (similar to the one seen on the latest-generation Creta), which extends into the quad-beam headlamp setup in the shape of inverted horns. Between the headlamps is the wider grill, which features rectangular elements (again, similar to the Creta).

Toward the bottom, we can see a generous amount of silver cladding, along with functional air vents. As mentioned earlier, the deeper character lines accentuate the overall look and appeal of the 2026 Venue. I mentioned this in my spy shot coverage: the new-generation Venue reminds me of the Exter and the Tucson at the same time.

  • Mono Tone – Mystic Sapphire | Hazel Blue | Dragon Red | Titan grey | Atlas white | Abyss Black
  • Dual Tone – Hazel Blue with abyss black roof | Atlas white with abyss black roof

While the blacked-out side cladding over the wheels and the lower body resembles the mini-SUV exterior, the grooves, boxy appearance, and the rear quarter glass look like the Tucson. The 2026 Venue also boasts new 16-inch alloys, but they look more like an EV’s than an ICE vehicle’s.

At the back, there’s a more prominent spoiler (an extension of the roofline), an edge-to-edge connected light bar, and lots of silver cladding at the bottom. To my eye, the front and rear profiles look too busy, but they’re certainly more in line with the modern-day aesthetic trends in the Indian automobile industry.

2026 Hyundai Venue Gets An Evolved Dashboard

While the upcoming Venue looks different on the outside, it is entirely different (and yet familiar) from the inside. Perhaps the biggest addition to the revised interiors is the integrated infotainment and driver’s cluster display, both with 12.3-inch screens. Furthermore, the infotainment screen is slightly curved toward the driver, enhancing its ergonomics.

Next up is the new four-spoke steering wheel with a boxy central unit, media and driving assistance controls, paddle shifters (on the top trims), and the new Hyundai logo that consists of four illuminated dots (also seen on the Creta Electric). Other than this, the dashboard features a dual-tone finish with plenty of buttons (similar to the Creta), and the word ‘Venue’ is inscribed above the co-passenger.

Hyundai hasn’t pulled back on using ambient lighting on the next-generation Venue as well. There’s a new minimalist center console with two cup holders, an electronic parking brake, a knob for the drive and traction mode selector, and buttons for the ventilated seats and parking camera. Additional features include rear seats with a two-step recline function, improved legroom, and wider opening doors.

Under its shiny exterior, the new-generation Venue will retain its powertrain options built around three of the company’s most reliable engines.

  • 1.2L naturally-aspirated petrol engine: 83hp with 5-speed manual transmission (borrowed from the Grand i10 Nios and the i20)
  • 1.0L turbo-petrol engine: 120hp paired with a 6-speed manual or 7-speed DCT transmission (also powered the i20 N-Line and the Kia Syros)
  • 1.5L diesel engine: 100hp paired with 6-speed manual transmission (also powers the Sonet, Creta, and Seltos)

2026 Hyundai Venue’s Bookings Are Underway

Hyundai has commenced bookings for the 2026 Venue at a token amount of Rs. 25,000. The vehicle’s prices will be revealed on November 4, 2025. Following that, dealers should begin deliveries in the second half of November.

Reports also suggest that the new Venue will do away with the current nomenclature and introduce a new one, in which the entry-level variant is called HX2 and the top-trim is called HX10.
