Ahead of its scheduled launch on November 4, 2025, the 2025 Hyundai Venue has been spotted undisguised on the streets of South Korea. The pictures show the vehicle in all its glory, as it is not covered in monochrome. Moreover, the new Venue draws a lot of inspiration from the existing Hyundai models in India, including the Exter and the Creta.

2025 Hyundai Venue: Exterior Design
Let’s just say that the new Venue doesn’t look like the outgoing generation, but rather more closely resembles Hyundai’s current lineup in India and abroad. For instance, the upper portion of the split headlamp setup in the front gives a hint of the Ioniq 9 SUV, while the lower portion (with the large blacked-out grill) resembles the Creta.
The C-shaped DRLs begin in the upper portion and enclose the headlamp in the bottom one. Now, I’ve spent a considerable amount of time examining the Kia Syros in the showroom and at my friend’s place, and I didn’t appreciate the low placement of the DRLs and headlamps; the module is in a very awkward (and tricky) position. Unfortunately, the upcoming Venue seems to get something similar.
Buyers will either like it or spend their time in the car worrying about impacts on the headlights. To make the vehicle look more aggressive, Hyundai has removed all the silver inserts at the front of the Venue and replaced them with a rectangular blacked-out front grille, functional vents at either edge, and chunky silver cladding at the bottom.

The moment I saw the Venue’s profile, the character lines and the wheel arches immediately reminded me of the Exter, and it is both a good and a bad thing. While they give the upcoming compact SUV a familiar look, resembling a smaller car might not go in favor of the 2025 Venue. Anyways, there’s a rear quarter glass, blacked-out C-pillar, and redesigned 16-inch alloy wheels.
This could be a hot take, but I prefer the 2025 Venue’s rear profile over its front fascia. The sleek, connected rear LED tail lights (situated inside a black trim that runs across the width of the car), additional lighting elements on either side (which could double as indicators or stop lamps), and the dual-tone cladding at the bottom (with L-shaped reflectors) give it a modern yet classy look.
2025 Hyundai Venue: Interior Design
Although the interiors of the vehicle have only been featured in a few leaks, we know that the upcoming Venue will come with a completely revamped dashboard.
We could get a new, dual-spoke steering wheel (similar to the one on the latest-generation Verna), a curved twin-screen setup with 12.3-inch screens (confirmed to be larger than those on the Creta), and upgraded climate controls (similar to those on the Creta). Expect the upholstery to feature new design elements as well, especially for the Turbo or N-Line variants.

I’d also appreciate it if the company did away with halogen bulbs in the interior, as they simply don’t go with the contemporary design language that’s otherwise followed.
2025 Hyundai Venue: Engine Options
Under its shiny exterior, the new-generation Venue will retain its powertrain options built around three of the company’s most reliable engines.
- 1.2L naturally-aspirated petrol engine: 83hp with 5-speed manual transmission (borrowed from the Grand i10 Nios and the i20)
- 1.0L turbo-petrol engine: 120hp paired with a 6-speed manual or 7-speed DCT transmission (also powered the i20 N-Line and the Kia Syros)
- 1.5L diesel engine: 100hp paired with 6-speed manual transmission (also powers the Sonet, Creta, and Seltos)
My wishlist for the 2025 Venue also includes a diesel automatic version. This isn’t entirely impossible, as the Kia Sonet already comes with a 6-speed torque converter unit in its HTX trim. The company simply has to place the power in the Venue for a premium price.

2025 Hyundai Venue: Safety Features
The biggest update coming to the compact SUV is Level 2 ADAS (up from Level 1 on the current model), a feature currently available on more premium offerings, such as the Creta and Seltos. With the addition, the vehicle should get features like adaptive cruise control, rear cross-traffic collision avoidance, blind-spot monitoring, emergency braking, and so on.
Hyundai has also confirmed the use of an upgraded body structure for the vehicle, which, in the automaker’s words, is “super strong.”
2025 Hyundai Venue: Booking & Delivery Timeline
The all-new Hyundai Venue will debut in India on November 4, 2025. While there’s no official word on the commencement of bookings, dealers may start accepting a token amount of around Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 30,000 by the third week of October to capitalize on the interest among buyers in exchange for reserving a unit.

Deliveries of the vehicle could start around the third or fourth week of November. Given that the vehicle has already missed the heat of the festive season sale (fueled by the GST 2.0 reforms and discount offers by dealers), Hyundai would want to capitalize on the hype around the vehicle, and delaying the deliveries would do the opposite. Remember that the booking and delivery timeline mentioned here is speculative (we’re awaiting official confirmation for the same).
