Maruti Suzuki has launched a 2022 Alto K10 edition in India with major upgrades to the powertrain and features. The 2022 Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 has made a comeback with a sharp, taller, and upright stance for some extra space than its older version. 

2022 Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 Price and Availability

India’s largest carmaker has priced its new Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 at INR 3.99 lakh (ex-showroom) onwards which goes up to INR 5.83 lakh for the top model. It is available in six colour options – Silky White, Sizzling Red, Speedy Blue, Solid White, Granite Grey, and Earth Gold.

2022 Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 arrives in four variants – STD, LXi, VXi, and VXi+. In the current affordable car market, the new Alto K10 will face competition from Renault Kwid and will sell alongside its Alto 800 sibling.

2022 Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 Features

The 2022 Maruti Alto K10 gets a bolder front face with finer honeycomb front grilles than the last model. It has swept-back headlights and square-shaped taillights. The dimension of the new Alto K10 is 3530mm in length, 1490mm in width, and 1520mm in height which makes the car 45mm taller and 85mm longer than the existing Alto. The wheelbase size is 2380mm.

2022 Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 is powered by a 1.0-litre K10C dual jet petrol mill with idle start/stop technology. The engine generates 67HP at 6000rpm and a peak torque of 89Nm at 3500rpm. The transmission options will include a 5-speed manual and 5-speed AMT gearboxes. The new Maruti hatchback is claimed to offer a fuel efficiency of 24.90kmpl.

Inside the Maruti Alto K10, there is a fresh dashboard with an appealing cabin, a 7-inch infotainment touchscreen display, an all-black steering wheel, and a digital driver cluster. It supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay for smart connectivity. Other features include a remote keyless entry, all-door speakers, power windows, and electrically adjustable ORVMs.

Safety features tagged with the 2022 Maruti Suzuki Alto are dual front airbags, rear parking sensors, a seatbelt reminder, and an Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD).
