Hyundai Motor has finally launched the much-awaited Venue facelift in India. The Venue 2022 comes with cosmetic upgrades, new comfort features and advanced connectivity features. Let’s discuss them in detail.

2022 Hyundai Venue facelift Features

Starting off with the aesthetics, the new Venue comes with trims similar to Hyundai Tucson but with a longer face. It has a chrome-finished front grille with the Hyundai logo at the centre, rectangular projector headlights with LED DRLs at the peripherals, and indicator lights above the headlamp. It has an updated set of ORVMs and chrome garnished door handles.

At the back, the Venue facelift has a new bumper with silver skid plates and has continuous LED lights connecting the two LED taillights completing the rear look. It comes with parking sensors, reflectors, an electric sunroof, roof rails, a shark fin, and a built-in spoiler.  The new compact SUV runs on 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels.

The digital instrument cluster looks great with the newly-designed steering wheel. The car gets a new dual-tone upholstery with back seats offering a two-step reclining function.

The new Venue facelift offers the first-in-segment feature by providing Home-to-Car (H2C) compatible with voice assistants – Alexa and Google Home Assistant. It allows a set of functions and controls to the customers at just a command even being away from the car. The Venue also supports 60+ Bluelink-connected car features for a better experience.

Safety features include six airbags, electronic stability control, a vehicle stability management system, and hill assist mode.

Hyundai has brought the new Venue without changing the engine and transmission options. As we say, the SUV offers three engine choices – 1.0-litre turbo petrol with 6-speed manual transmission and 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, a Kappa 1.2-litre petrol engine with 5-speed manual transmission and a 1.5-litre diesel motor with 6-speed manual transmission.

Hyundai Venue facelift Price and Availability

Hyundai has set the price of the new Venue facelift starting at Rs 7.53 lakh for the Kappa 1.2-litre petrol option, Rs 9.99 lakh onwards for the 1.0-litre turbo petrol model, and Rs 9.99 for the diesel engine variant. The Venue will be available in six colour variants – Phantom Black, Polar White, Typhoon Silver, Denim Blue, Fiery Red, and dual-tone Fiery Red with Phantom Black roof. The company is currently accepting pre-booking at a token amount of Rs 21,000.
