Here is one stop review of energy efficiency of this product. Used at 26 degree celcius , in a 10 by 10 ft room on top floor where there is direct sunlight,all windows,gate were closed ,measured at noon on hot day .submeter showed it consumes 1 unit for every 36 minutes .verified multiple times and result is same .It is so because it does not reached 26 degree and compressor continuously worked for 36 minutes to bring required temperature as room is directly exposed to sunlight. I bought it reading other reviews which says it is very energy efficient .It is more energy efficient than other Ac in same range but beware of word "very".
