Realme GT is confirmed to sport Snapdragon 888 SoC, 64MP Triple Cam; launching on March 4

Realme is gearing up to introduce its next flagship smartphone dubbed Realme GT which is anticipated to sport some superior features. The phone is scheduled to launch on March 4 in China. 

Realme has previewed the Realme GT which will see daylight at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Shanghai on February 23. The handset is confirmed to be powered by Snapdragon 888 SoC. Besides, as we are approaching the Realme GT launch event, several other revelations are appearing online.

Realme GT Confirmed Specs

The two images of Realme GT revealed by the company present its rear end in two different colors. Initially, we had witnessed a metallic grey variant; and lately, a poster shows the device’s yellow and black-striped look, presumed to be inspired by a GT sports car.

Realme GT’s teaser posters strongly suggest the phone to have a 64MP triple camera in a rectangular array residing quad-LED flash. It is also seen with a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB Type-C port at the lower edge. The yellow dual-tone version has confirmed to sport a vegan leather finish.

Realme GT will be powered by a 5nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset with 5G support, Adreno 660 GPU, and WiFi 6E connectivity. The device will be equipped with stainless steel VC cooling system to deliver high thermal performance. 

For remaining specifications, Realme GT is said to ship with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. The phone could get an OLED punch-hole display, in-display fingerprint sensor, 65W fast charge support, and a 32MP selfie camera.

As soon as the Realme GT is unveiled in China, we could soon expect a global version of the premium smartphone, which may also debut in the Indian market. Realme’s last premium smartphone was the Realme X50 Pro 5G (review) which is currently selling at a starting price of INR 41,999 in India.
