MG Motor India is gearing up for the launch of its upcoming electric vehicle, the Comet EV, and has recently unveiled further details about the features that will be available inside the car’s cabin. The Intelligent Tech Dashboard system is set to offer drivers an array of advanced features, including seamless connectivity, intuitive controls, and an integrated floating widescreen. This widescreen is set to feature two 10.25-inch screens for the infotainment and instrument cluster, with the infotainment UI boasting different sized widgets and three customizable pages.

MG seems to be offering a bigger and better infotainment screen with both touch and voice command functionality. This feature will allow drivers to control various aspects of their Comet EV. The steering wheel is designed with a two-spoke design and physical buttons on either side something similar to Skoda Kushaq. Additionally, the interior will be finished in a trim-tone theme, featuring black, beige, and silver finishes that will appeal to drivers who want to ride in style and comfort.

The MG Comet EV will be available in two different battery packs of 20 kWh and 25 kWh, respectively. These battery packs are likely to offer claimed range figures of between 150 km to 200 km on a full charge. The battery packs feature a lightweight LFP (Lithium-iron Phosphate) chemistry, which provides a longer lifespan and lower energy discharge. This is a significant benefit for drivers, as it offers a practical and sustainable solution for daily commutes, reducing the need for frequent charging.

The MG Comet EV is the second fully electric offering from MG Motor India, and it is expected to be priced between Rs 10 to Rs 11 lakh bracket. The automaker’s focus on advanced features and intuitive controls is sure to appeal to tech-savvy buyers looking for a unique driving experience.

Overall, the launch of the Comet EV is eagerly awaited, and it remains to be seen how it will fare against the competition. However, with its cutting-edge technology, sleek design, and practical features, the Comet EV entry into the Indian market will certainly give a push to EV adoption in the country.
