iQOO is all set to add a new member to its ‘Z’ Series in the country. The iQOO Z9x 5G smartphone has been confirmed to arrive in India on May 16. The device will join the already launched iQOO Z9 5G that came out in March 2024. The upcoming iQOO Z9x 5G is claimed to come with a robust battery life as the teasers carry the tagline “Full Day Fully Loaded”. The same slogan was shared by CEO Nipun Marya earlier. iQOO Z9x 5G: launch confirmed
iQOO has shared a teaser via its social media platforms that confirms the launch date to be May 16. It also reveals that the smartphone will retail via Amazon India post-launch.
iQOO Z9x 5G: Confirmed Details
The teasers have confirmed that the device will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset. It has a dual camera setup at the back and comes in green color with a finish similar to iQOO Z9 5G. The other color variant will be black. The only difference in design is that while the iQOO Z9 5G had a green camera housing, this one has a distinct black camera module even in the green model.

iQOO Z9x 5G: Expected specs
The iQOO Z9x 5G has already been launched in China so we have an idea about what its specs might be. It comes with a 6.72-inch LCD panel with 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone packs a 6000mAh battery with 44W fast charging capability. The iQOO Z9x 5G sports a 50MP dual camera setup at the back and an 8MP selfie sensor at the front. It runs Android 14-based OriginOS 4 out of the box. Additional features will include an IP64 rating, Bluetooth 5.1, a 3.5mm audio jack, stereo speakers, WiFi, and more.

In China, the iQOO Z9x 5G comes in a single 8GB RAM+128GB storage model for CNY 1299 which is approximately INR 15,000. In India too, the device is expected to cost along similar lines but expected storage variants are 4GB/128GB, 6GB/128GB, and 8GB/128GB.
iQOO Z9x 5G will come in Black and Green color options.
