Kung Fu Panda 4 to Release on OTT in April 2024: Streaming Details Inside

The much-loved and much-anticipated Kung Fu Panda franchise is back with a full-length feature film after 8 long years. Dream Works released the Kung Fu Panda 4 movie in theatres on 8th March 2024 around the world. The movie was confirmed to be in production in 2022 and has now been released, almost 2 years after it was confirmed.

For those of you who don’t know Kung Fu Panda film series follows the adventures of a clumsy Panda Po whose life changes when he finds out that he has been fated to become the Dragon Warrior and a leader to the band of warriors to protect his home, the Valley of Peace.

While the last feature film in the franchise was released in 2016, there have also been a few spin-off series that have been streaming on various OTT platforms between 2010 and 2023. Kung Fu Panda 4: Streaming Details

Universal Studios has announced that the Kung Fu Panda 4 will be available on Peacock for four months with a projected streaming date of July 6, 2024. After this, it will move to Netflix where it will stay for 10 months. WhenToStream claims that the official premiere will take place on April 9 for those who want to digitally purchase or rent the title through VOD platforms like Prime Video, Apple, and Google. The digital release will also include an original short titled Dueling Dumplings.

The movie proved to be a hit at the worldwide box office with a collection of over 80.5 million dollars.

Kung Fu Panda 4: Trailer Dissection

Kung Fu Panda 4 is an adrenaline-packed ride as this time Master Shifu has asked Po to retire from the post of Dragon Warrior and become the Spiritual Leader of the Valley of Peace. Although Po tries to meditate but his focus goes to dinner and things go awry. Po now has to face a formidable new foe, The Chameleon who is a shape-shifting creature wanting to become the Warrior Dragon to master the valley.

Po sets out to conquer the challenge with the help of Zhen who is next in line to become the Dragon Warrior. To face Chameleon, Po assembles an army full of crooks and criminals whose leader is Han. Will Po be able to stop The Chameleon from possessing the Kung Fu of every master villain or will he lose power as well as peace of the valley altogether?
