Fortnite, the ginormous hit game was initially available for download via an installer app from outside the Google Play Store. However, back in October, Epic Games, the developer of Fortnite announced the Epic Games app. This marked its introduction as a full-blown game store on multiple platforms. However, at that moment, it wasn’t available on Android. Well, now it is.
The Fortnite Installer on Android is now the Epic Games app!

The new update comes as a part of the Battle Breakers game launch. Battle Breakers is a cartoon-inspired Hero Collector RPG.
Epic Games: How to Download
- Either visit battlebreakers.com/mobile on your Android phone or scan this QR code.
- You’ll be taken to the download page. All you have to do is to install the downloaded apk file.
- It’ll be named Fortnite Installer but upon installation, it will open as Epic Games.
Within the app, we were able to find two titles viz. Fortnite and Battle Breakers.

In contrast, the Epi Games website exhibits a larger library including titles such as Red Dead Redemption 2. That said, you can access the store via App Store on the iOS, as well as the Samsung Galaxy Store.
