Dreame L10s Ultra Review: Design, build & Initial Setup
Unpacking and setting up the Dreame L10s Ultra is a breeze! Once you unbox it, you’ll find it in a huge, surprisingly heavy package. Inside, you’ve got the robot, which measures 13 inches by 13 inches and stands 3 inches tall. There’s a bump at the top housing the LiDAR readers. It weighs a little over 3 kg.
Setting it up is straightforward: assemble the docking station by removing the chrome panel on the front and sliding a 3L dust bag inside. Insert the mopping pad into the robot and push it into the docking station. Then, fill the tank with clean water and insert the bundled cleaning detergent into its slot. Your Dreamebot L10s Ultra is all set for app setup.
You have now added the device to the Dreame Home app. The App setup only takes a few minutes: connect to the Dreame L10s Ultra via Bluetooth, enter the Wi-Fi password, and you’re ready.
Next up is mapping, which is lightning-fast thanks to laser-guided navigation. Once it’s done, you can divide your space into individual rooms and let the robot clean them one by one. You can even set up no-go zones to keep it away from specific areas.
In the app, you can schedule automatic cleaning, order the robot to a spot for spot cleaning, or even use it as a surveillance camera. However, the surveillance feature is only available through the DreameHome app. You can control it with a live camera image and virtual arrow keys or set it to patrol your floor plan via waypoints.
Dreame L10s Ultra Review: Everyday User Experience
The L10S Ultra presents various cleaning modes, including vacuuming, mopping, and combined vacuuming and mopping. Since my house features different flooring types – hard title to carpet, the robot can identify the surface and automatically enhance suction power for carpets, which is an excellent feature. Boasting a suction power of 5,300 Pa, it aptly collects dust and debris. Throughout testing, the navigation and obstacle detection were consistently and reliably performed.
There were no significant collisions, and it even recognized thin chair legs, table legs, and slippers without any problems in most cases. To my surprise it was able to detect my phone’s charging cable which was touching my floor.
After the vacuuming runs, the robot empties its 350mL dust box. During mopping jobs, it empties and refills the water tank. Dreame assures you that you won’t have to worry about manually emptying the dustbin for up to 60 days. It features the Dualboost 2.0 automatic emptying system, which suctions the robot’s dust container into a three-liter bag in the station. You simply have to dispose of the entire bag.
If you select combined moping and dusting mode from the app, you don’t have to worry about soaking your throw rugs. It’s smart enough to lift its mop heads by 7.5mm and crank up its suction when it moves from hard flooring to carpet.
The mopping function was surprisingly effective as well. The robot’s dual mop heads rotate at 180 RPM, providing enough pressure to eliminate stubborn dirt. With its water and cleaning fluid combination, my floors looked like I had just gone over them with a regular mop.
After each cleaning job, the robot vacuum returns to its dock. The dust box contents are sucked into the base station’s dust bag, and the mop heads are cleaned by dipping them in water and spinning them at high speed. Then, they are dried with hot air. This process prevents them from getting moldy and smelly in humid monsoon or coastal areas. The auto-cleaning process is loud when it sucks the dustbin contents out, but it only lasts for less than a minute, so it’s not too obtrusive.
Dreamebot L10s Ultra review: Battery & Other Features
The DreameBot L10s Ultra comes with a 5,200mAh battery, enough to clean my entire house in one go with 57 percent battery remaining. If the battery runs out during cleaning, it will return to the dock for charging and then resume from where it left off. Furthermore, it is compatible with Alexa, Siri, and Google Assistant, enabling you to control your DreameBot robot cleaner using these digital assistants.

Dreame L10s Ultra Review Verdict: Should You Buy It?
been a reliable helper. It requires minimal assistance for mopping or vacuuming. I set it to run every morning while I’m at work, and when I return home, the floors are clean. The app allows for great customization and offers numerous cleaning options. While it’s pricey, it’s competitively priced for its feature set, and I would recommend it. So far, it has been worth every penny, and I don’t have any complaints.
