User Reviews
Best in the market!
This is the Best rated and won many awards for its best Picture Quality. But, there is a strong truth about OLED which is hidden and many reviewers do not make it a big deal. OLED has the best picture quality and close to plasma TVs. Currently, LG, Sony are the brands which are making/selling OLED TVs in India. Apart from Sony, This is only TV that supports Dolby Vision. Pros: Best Picture Quality Infinite Contrast True Blacks Wide color gamut No distortion in color at any angle Sleek Design Dolby Vision Smooth OS and Fast. Magic Remote Good Sound Good for Gaming due to the quick response time. Cons: Screen is not covered under warranty if there is a Burn-In Degrades overtime Burn-In Issue in Future & Image Retention No support for Bluetooth Headphones other than LG. Very less apps in LG App Store but i use apple 4k tv instead it also supports 4k dolby vision Sound is not up-to the mark. Its not a Dolby Atmos. You will never feel like it. The AI sucks. It wont even recognize your words properly Sometimes, white looks blue. As this is a OLED, everybody knows that, overtime, there will be a image retention and burn-in issue. Which is why, the screen is not covered under warranty. You'll get warranty for 1 year. But, they wont replace it for free if burn-in issue occurs. And you may also go for Extended warranty. But, the amount is sixty thousand for 3r4 years. In India, all local and private DTH providers will include their big logos on every channel apart from the regular channel logos. If you watch the same channel for hours everyday, then within 1 or 2 years, the screen will get burn-in and you can see that in all channels. Please check in YouTube for all the OLED Burn-in videos from other people. Then you'll understand. You may not get this soon. But, if you do not care about the TV, then you'll get this issue for sure. Coming to the Bluetooth, you may not be able to pair with all. I have F&D 5.1 Home theater system, which i was able to connect to TV. But, there is a delay in sound. And the main thing is I was not able to connect Sony WH-1000XM3 Headset. It wont even recognize. After searching a lot, I got the answer. This TV wont support other brand Bluetooth headsets except LG. I agree, It has the best picture quality and you'll be amazed to see the true colors and viewing angle. No LCD LED TV can beat this. Currently, QLED is the best for everyday use. It reaches close to OLED. And it wont degrade overtime. In future you can go for Micro-LED TVs. For those who bought this TV : 1. Please enable the Screen Shift option under Picture > OLED Settings 2. Also put it on 'High" for Logo Luminescence 3. Run the Pixel Refresher every Month. 4. Avoid using maximum settings for back light, brightness, and contrast. 5. If you watch any channel for more than 4 hours, Turn the TV off for 5-10 minutes and then back on. 6. Watch content that doesn't have static elements like Logos which do not move. If you leave any kind of bright, static image up on the screen for an extended period of time you're likely to see some image retention. And yeah, after researching a lot, I had to return this TV. I'll get QLED for now. Alternatives to this TV: Samsung QLED - Q6FN, Q7FN Sony X900F If you care, TV can survive for longer. Or else, you can return or sell it. This is like an investment and with all the features that you are expecting, you would think that this would easily last for more 10 years. If I'm paying this much, then I would expect the TV to work for more than 5 years. Why do I need to take care of it and do something all the time. Do we actually remember it after a month ? Does our family members remember and do all that ? If you're single then may be you can take care of it. But, all members in your family cant treat it with care. They'll watch for hours and do not care at all. And for not all people who got OLED got these issues. We don't know if we are lucky. Anyway, If you are lucky, it might survive for 3-5 years. When the OLEDs were launched, the price are so high. Due to the risks, the prices got reduced and most of us are now able to buy them. The price would decrease every year. Note: I'm not forcing you to not buy this TV. I've explained the pros and cons. Its up to you and you are the once who should decide. Please try to research, go to any showrooms or retailer shops, watch, compare OLED with QLED, check reviews and if you think this is the best, go for it.
