Panasonic T50

Panasonic T50 is an entry level phone which is also the first one to run Panasonic's own SAIL UI. For smooth sailing, the handset relies on very basic hardware which might not make the cut if you are anything but basic user. The Panasonic T50 online price is 4,990 INR, which is perhaps reasonable for a 'familiar brand' offering. To start with, Panasonic T50 includes a 4.5-inch FWVGA display. Doing the math, the display isn't very sharp but should be useable for first time smartphone users. Panasonic has refrained from detailing the SoC ticking underneath, but reveals that cagily mentions that there are 4 cores clocked at 1.3 GHz. The processor is supported by 1GB RAM and 8GB storage, which doesn't sound like much in 2016. For photography there is a 5MP primary rear camera with LED flash. The SAIL camera software adds 9 beauty mode, watermark, pose mode and more software enhancements to help you squeeze more out of this basic camera set-up. A 2MP selfie camera is present on the front as well. Other features include Dual SIM connectivity, 32GB MicroSD card support and a measly 1600 mAh battery. On the hardware front, the Panasonic T50 doesn't offer much to be excited about. Its projected highlight is Android Lollipop based customized SAIL software, but owing to the complications involved in nurturing and developing a software, that isn't much of an assurance by itself. The lowest price of Panasonic T50 is 4,990 INR.
