Nokia 5.2

HMD Global is planning to release its upcoming phone Nokia 5.2 aka “Captain America”. It is going to be an entry-level smartphone with a decent SoC, a quality camera, and better RAM management. According to the reports, HMD Global is ready to release it in the upcoming tech event at MWC Barcelona.

Display and Camera

Nokia 5.2 is fitted with a 5.9-inch IPS LCD display having a waterdrop notch at the top. The phone has a resolution of 720x1520 pixels with a pixel density of 285 PPI.

It sports a quad set of lenses that surround the LED flash in a circular plate. It has a usual set of quad-cam set up that sports a 48MP primary lens, a 5MP wide-angle lens, a 2MP macro lens and the last 2MP dedicated depth sensor complete the setup. The front camera flaunts a 16MP lens with a flash.

Configuration and Battery

Nokia 5.2 is powered by a 665 octa-core SoC and runs on 6GB of RAM to ensure lag-free multitasking and gaming performance. It is powered by ADRENO 610 GPU to handle the graphics requirements.

It is backed by a 4000mAh battery that we can expect to run throughout the day. Nokia 5.2 supports Qualcomm’s quick charge feature, so it won’t take much time to charge it.

Storage and Connectivity

Nokia 5.2 has 64GB of inbuilt storage and it can be expanded up to 400GB using a micro-SD card. It offers ample storage to store your photos, videos, and music.

The phone offers usual sets of connectivity that include 4G, VoLTE, WiFi 802.11, Mobile Hotspot, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, A-GPS, etc.

Closure

The trend of making affordable smartphones with leading features attracts many buyers towards it. Nokia 5.2 has decent specs and an eye-catchy rear quad-cam fitted on a circular ring. But it lacks display quality that can disappoint many buyers. However, you may consider looking at Redmi Note 8 Pro, Samsung Galaxy M30s, Oppo F11 and Honor 9x that offer more at the same price.
