Moto X review (2014): from also-ran to amazing in one year

#ExpertReview
By Engadget9 years ago
Motorola's plan with last year's flagship seemed pretty clear: It set it to build a smarter kind of smartphone. The company mostly succeeded, but the formula just didn't make sense for people who wanted the most oomph for their buck. One year later and it's apparent Motorola has learned from its mistakes. This year's Moto X still isn't perfect -- the camera is occasionally just frustrating, and its battery life is purely average compared to its rivals -- but it's the closest that Motorola has come in a very long time.
  • Runs near-stock Android
  • Motorola's additional features are smart and useful
  • Snappy performance
  • Thoughtful, comfortable design
  • Lots of customization options
  • Cameras are average at best and frustrating at worst
  • Unremarkable battery life
  • Some carrier bloatware

Moto X 2nd Gen Review

It was one of the best Smartphone of 2014. Amazingly it was launched at rs 32,000 for 32 GB model in November 2014, but it is now available for 18,000. If it is best when priced at 32000 it is a beast for 18000. There are only fewer phone with the similar specs of Moto X 2014 like ( waving hands over the phone to wake the screen )

Worst phone on this earth...... i bought it 2 months back..... i wasted my all the money on this phone....

Worst phone on this earth...... i bought it 2 months back..... i wasted my all the money on this phone....screen cost 19000... not LCD.. Just front screen.. so be careful before buying. To Motorola(If yo are listening):It fell down from very low height. screen broken. I am not able to use it now becuse glass partical started coming out. My phone is packed now(Not in use). Please help me to get my screen changed in possible cost. i am ready pay upto 8k. 18900 is too much to replace only front glass.. If i have to pay 18900 for just screen i can buy different better phone instead. My LCD is perfectly fine only upper glass is broken. At least be practical in product accessories cost. I was a big fan of motorola and i invested my all hard earned money into that. but end of the day this incident sucks.. plz help....plz help Motorola....
