LeEco and Coolpad joined hands and launched a new smartphone with a dual camera setup and a massive 4060 mAh battery. Both the companies have settled for the name - LeEco Cool1.
LeEco Cool 1 sports dual 13MP resolution (f/2.0 aperture) PDAF rear snappers aided with dual-tone LED flash and an 8 MP (f/2.2 aperture, 80-degree wide-angle lens) Selfie shooter.
A lot of people might believe that the dual camera setup is more of a gimmick. Well, not necessarily. The Presence of an extra sensor helps with sensing depth of objects placed in the image frame and allows you to add bokeh effect in clicked pictures. Definitely, it is a bonus to have in your smartphone.
A fingerprint sensor is placed right below the camera setup on the rear panel. The company claims that the fingerprint sensor can unlock the handset in just 0.15 sec. You can also use it as a shutter key to conveniently shoot selfies.
The handset flaunts a 5.5-inch QHD (1920x1080 p) IPS LCD display which offers maximum brightness of up to 450 nits.
The device is powered by a di-cluster(1.8GHz quad Cortex A-72+ 1.2GHz quad Cortex A-53) octa-core Snapdragon 652 processor mated with 3GB/4GB RAM, Adreno 510 GPU and 32GB/64GB of inbuilt Multimedia storage. The chipset is backed by a massive 4,060 mAh battery.
The Cool 1 runs Android 6.0 (marshmallow) with LeEco’s EUI 5.6 skin on top of it.
Connectivity options includes 4G with VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and USB type-C.
Cool1 supports dual SIM cards (Nano + Nano) and skips microSD card slot. And all these specs are clubbed in a metal unibody.
The LeEco Cool1 comes in three colors- Gold, Silver and Rose Gold. The handset offers different price options based on its RAM and inbuilt storage (3 GB RAM/32GB storage, 4GB RAM/32 GB storage and 4GB RAM/64 GB storage). The price of LeEco Cool1 is yet to be announced.
