Customer Service - horrible!
I bought this product in Nov 2013. The specifications were very good for its price.
I had a problem with it needing to be powered off and restarted when it was idle. This was resolved by a firmware update.
Even though I had iBerry's own cover on it, the Gorilla Glass screen cracked because of a 2.5 feet fall from the arm of a sofa. I was told that replacing the screen would cost Rs. 9000. I decided not as the cost was very high compared to the price of the phone itself. The phone continued to work well for 5 - 6 months afterward, apart from the cracked screen.
Then about a month ago, the rear camera stopped working. I was told to update the firmware. I asked whether they knew that it would solve the problem as it seemed like a hardware issue to me. Upon hearing yes, I updated the firmware. The rear camera still didn't work. Now, the problem of idling to death came back. If you let your phone go into sleep mode, then it becomes unresponsive and needs to be powered off and restarted. Needless to say, a very nasty problem introduced by the new firmware.
I was asked to take it in to the collection center which I did. After a few days, I get a call saying that the touch screen is not working and fixing it would be 9000. I claimed that the touch was working fine when I gave it to the collection center and this was verified by the collection center officer, who also noted that the glass was cracked.
Now, after a month of back and forth, I am told that the spare part for the screen is not available (I am still being asked to pay 9000, which I am refusing) and that the spare part for the camera is also not available.
I am completely frustrated with their attitude of trying to shift the blame for damaging the touch screen in their repair center and asking me to pay for the repair because the glass was cracked.
Heck Customer Support...
Worst Mad People Sitting there as customer care rep.. Who don't know anything and I have to explain them all about their products to them and if I have any problem I need to understand them my problem and also the solution.. Which I have to do search and find....

I have purchased this phone from ebay on 20th.marh.2014.camera is not 13mp.photos brightness is down.sometimes applications running automatically.battery drained quickly.in full screen mode camera automatic set to 8mp.very poor service.plz.donot buy.

Subject: Deficiency in services.
I want to bring to your kind notice the extreme trouble I have undergone due to your delayed and unprivileged services and the negligent and irresponsive attitude and acts of your staff which has created a great deal of hardships to me.
I had ordered an iberry Auxus Nuclea N1 smart phone in prebooking through an online website called ebay.in on July 21th, 2013 for a sum of Rs. 15,990/-. The product was delivered to me on August 16th, 2013 under 3rd batch with IMEI no. 358865031973864 and 358865031973872 and the invoice no. 2868. Attached herewith is a copy of the order details, payment details and the invoice as Annexure I, Annexure II and Annexure III, respectively.
I used the phone for barely a week and I started facing problems with the phone’s earpiece. I was unable to hear proper voices of the caller. I complained about the same to your company’s customer care on August 28th, 2013 who asked me to contact the service centre for rectifying the issue. On your company’s website it was shown that Hapur had a service centre but when I reached there, I realised that the service centre did not exist Which comes under a fraud category from the customer. Therefore, I had to submit the phone in Noida, which was 55 kilometres away from my home.
After a month, I got the phone back and was charged Rs. 3,000/- for the same. But soon, I found various other problems with the phone’s battery, camera and adapter regarding which I contacted your company a number of times from 3rd Jan 2014 but your company’s executives refused to entertain my problems and sort them out. I was just given fake assurances each time I tried to follow up with your company but no action was actually taken regarding my grievance. Attached herewith is the copy of the job sheet as Annexure IV.
I am appalled to have received such pathetic and unprofessional services from your company and seeing the incompetency and the casual approach of your staff towards my grievance. I am more shocked to see the utterly rude and non-cooperative behaviour of your employees towards their customers. I have spent my hard-earned money in the process of just fixing the phone and have suffered loss of time and mental peace and health too.
Your company’s actions are liable under Section 2(1)(g) of the Consumer Protection Act, 1986 defines “deficiency” as any fault, imperfection, shortcoming or inadequacy in the quality, nature and manner of performance which is required to be maintained by or under any law for the time being in force or has been undertaken to be performed by a person in pursuance of a contract or otherwise in relation to any service time being in force or has been undertaken to be performed by a person in pursuance of a contract or otherwise in relation to any service. Also, as per Section 2(1)(f) of the Consumer Protection Act, 1986, ‘Defect’ means any fault, imperfection or shortcoming in the: Quality, Quantity, Potency, Purity or Standard that is mandated to be maintained either under law or under a contract or is claimed by any trader in relation to goods. Thus, the Opponent comes squarely within the purview of law.
As a consequence of your deficient service and the repeated incompetency displayed by your employees, I have suffered undue hardship and mental frustration.
I would like to emphasize that:
You have been grossly negligent and unprofessional in your approach.
I have undergone a lot of extreme stress and mental agony because of your deficient service.
Given the above sequence of events, I request you to refund Rs. 15,990/-.
In addition, I request you to compensate me with an amount of Rs. 20,000/- for the extreme stress and mental agony you have caused to me.
In case you fail to act on this letter within 15 days from the date of this letter, I would be forced to:
Ask my lawyers to file a consumer complaint against you for gross negligence, and deficient service, as well as additional compensation for mental agony and legal costs;
Ask my lawyers to consider the filing of a civil suit against your organization;
Start a sustained online campaign spreading the word about the appalling level of service that I have received from you; and
Issue press releases online and in the print media.
I hope that I do not have to take these steps and look forward to an amicable resolution of this issue.

have given my I berry N1 phone second time to Ahmadabad company authorized service center as you and E Bay said to do.The in-charge service center person said he will call back as phone gets repaired,but we have not received any call yet.Ahmadabad service center is 150 km far away from our place. we already spend 4000- 5000 rs and 5 full days.and now as you said for job sheet number we will spend another 1000 rs and a day..our phone was dead on arrival..So now its our request to replace our phone or give our money back.
So before we take any further legal action with our total expense be the needful.
