The Chinese smartphone manufacturer has launched to new smartphones in the Indian market - the Coolpad Mega 3 and Coolpad Note 3S. What really stands out in Coolpad Mega 2.5D successor is it offers the power of three SIM card slots. Apart from that, rest of the Mega 3 specification are mediocre.
The Mega 3 takes its design inspiration from Note 3 and Note 3 Lite. It comes with a matte finish removable back and front is dominated by large display. Beneath the cover, there is 3 dedicated SIM cards slot and a microSD card slot along with a non-removable battery.
It sports a 5.5-inch 720p display which is clearly not the most gorgeous display in the market today.
Internally, it features a 1.25GHz Quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor with Mali-T720 GPU. For multitasking 2GB RAM is roped in. Coolpad Mega 3 offers a pinch less than 9GB storage space to the end user out of 16GB of onboard storage. There is an option to add microSD card to add more space on the phone.
In optics section, it bears an 8-megapixel selfie camera and an 8-megapixel primary shooter at the back. The phone supports VoLTE, 4G, Wifi, Bluetooth, GPS and USB OTG as connectivity options. It is backed by a 3050mAh battery.
