Very Good
Grab some snacks it is going to be a lengthy review with a few tricks and tips. Initially when i opened the box i couldn't wait to test it so I connected it to my phone via bluetooth and played a song. OMG! The bass was hitting so hard if you set the volume to 25 and bass at level 4 you can feel the vibrations in the ground. Then I played a classical song in the system via bluetooth the sound seemed muffled to me, the dialogues weren't clear while watching movies, the bass would everytime overpower other sounds even after setting the bass at -5 level ( by the way bass ranges from -5 to +5 ). I thought of returning the speakers because the sound was muffled. But, before doing that i thought I'll research why it is happening and after a lot and lots of searching I found a few tips which might help you. 1. Set the height of the soundbar 3 ft above the ground or to the level where your ears are when you are watching the TV. Remember height of the soundbar from the ground = height of your ears from the ground or at least close to it for the best dialogue clarity. 2. Do not set the soundbar in the corner, if your room is empty or doesn't have enough furniture and other things. The bass will bounce back of the walls and create a muffling effect and you'll not understand a single dialogue. 3. Try not placing the woofer on the ground because the ground absorbs most of the short waves (bass). 4. Experiment by placing the woofer in different places and at different levels of bass and treble. If you have a TV unit place the woofer above the TV unit and not inside or beside the unit. 5. The harder the surface of the room is, the more disturbance the bass creates. Short waves (bass) travel faster than long waves (assume dialogues). Before the long waves reach your ear the short waves will create disturbance in the space which results in a muffled sound. 6. A soft mat with fur or anything soft will greatly help, try filling in your room with furniture and other accessories. Curtains on the opposite wall of your system also help a lot. 7. Keep the soundbar in the center of the room for better effect. 8. It doesn't support Dolby digital so forget about the theatre like experience in terms of overall experience. But, it'll surely remind you of the theatre with its bass. 9. Initially it had problems with connection with HDMI, try connecting the HDMI to the laptop and play a song, use a HDMI cable for better quality. If you are into classical music and listen to each and every chord of music. You'll be disappointed with this system. It is made for people who are looking for a budget friendly soundbar with great price to performance ratio. I felt the bass is slightly on the harder side, whereas the Sony and JBL are on the softer side but hard on your pockets. Cheap, Bass Booster. Before returning the product because of bad audio quality try the above steps. :)
