Best laptop
Hi, I am writing this review after using this laptop from Dec'14. I liked my 15" inch laptop and am in love with the features. A little bit bulkier in Ultra but light weight considering conventional laptops. Windows 8 really love it. Really works for heavy gaming and development.I don''t like to play games but I preferred this one. Pros: 1. Light weight and easy to carry without power chord 2. Looks and finish 3. keypad 4. Design Cons: 1. heat on the right edge in the start but if you use for long time its cooled 2.Battery design in L shape and need to check with dealer 3. no proper window to let the heat goes off...:-) I don't see any other things

the placement of the fans is so wrong,laptop gets heated very much on heavy gaming,the games like crysis 3 and far cry 4 can only run smoothly on lowest settings also the wifi reception was terrible i had to upgrade the bios to fix it overall i'm not very happy with the laptop since it is a gaming laptop and amd has implemented 64bit architecture instead of 128bit..i wont be recommending this for gamers but the laptop is fine for normal usage since the battery life is very good and the metal cover makes you feel its very premium.

Awesome Product from Dell
I have purchased this product from a Dell retailer and have found this laptop to be amazing with its performance. There are 2 drawbacks--one is that it doesn't have an optical drive within but doesn't matter these days. People who are still keen on using optical media can purchase one external optical drive for the laptop. Secondly, the processor in this model is non-replaceable if it gets damaged since the processor is attached with the motherboard of the laptop. If something gets damaged inside, the whole thing within the laptop needs to be replaced. So its a wise decision to take a warranty extension for additional 2 years from Dell. The laptop's performance is very good when used in multi-tasking as this has a 4th generation Intel Core i5 processor with 8 GB DDR3 RAM 1600MHz (4GBX2) although the mobo supports 16 GB of RAM which means that if one thinks to upgrade to 16 GB of RAM, then he/she has to buy two RAM modules of 8 GB each which generally most customers won't do until and unless its necessary. Good point about this laptop is that it has a back-lit keyboard which enables the user to work even in the darkness. The battery backup is really good for me and it charges super-fast. Upto 5 hours backup is what you can expect from this laptop. Also, some users will be disappointed to know the fact that it has got a Fast Ethernet LAN card instead of Gigabit Ethernet LAN card but I really don't care about that since that is only a concern for the enterprise level users. Despite of these drawbacks, I have started to like this laptop as it serves my purpose and for gamers, the 2GB DDR3 AMD Radeon card is not that worthy to play games these days as there are better gaming cards available in the Alienware series which costs much more than this. Don't expect too much about gaming in this laptop. Better stick with the desktops or consoles for better gaming if you are thinking of investing money for HD gaming.
