Absolutely as advertised. This laptop is for serious users. It is NOT a gaming laptop or a laptop that has bling. It is s a serious workhorse. I was to buy the Asus 434 and had almost placed the order. I had two concerns with it. The first was minor, that it has that second screen on the Touchpad that would use battery life and is actually no use for a serious user. The second was the reason I was hesitating. The charging was through an adapter. and I usually have 2. A USB type C power delivery was so needed and I would be compromising and would have to invest in another adapter. This laptop solved both of my problems. It has Thunderbolt 3 ports that help for Power delivery so i can use one charger for all my devices. The best things I loved about this laptop. 1. The build quality is amazing. It feels professional and stable. I think something I can use for years. 2. USB Thunderbolt ports. Future ready 3. Full size HDMI. I need that to connect to a secondary monitor and projectors and TV's. - No Dongle needed 4. Full size keyboard! I haven't experienced a better keyboard, Not on my earlier models, including the IBM thinkpad, or the Dell XPS. And I have been using Laptops for over 20 years! 4. Bloody fast ! i7. 10th Gen with NVMe Drive 5. Windows Hello compatible IR camera - no password login or messy fingerprint readers. 6. Superb Display. A little not so bright, at the highest setting, but perfect for me, since I usually am at the mid range anyway. Things other reviewers crib, but they do not affect me. 1. No Headphone jack ! This is 2020 - Who uses cables? Haven't you guys heard of Bluetooth. (They provide a free dongle, if that is needed. But mine will remain in the box forgotten forever) 2. Only one Colour - Ok - I wouldn't be caught dead walking around with a Lilac Laptop 3. No Ethernet. Hey Guys, have you seen speed on Wi-Fi AC? or are you still on unsecure networks? One observation after 2 weeks of usage! The Battery is superb, but i don't' think anywhere close to 22 hours that they advertise. I get around 6 to 8 hours. And my usage is documents and images. No Audio or Video or gaming. But with USB type C PD- that is not a problem.

Terrific
Asus gets it absolutely spot on!!! I waited 12 months for this and shifted from my old Zenbook UX305FA to this.. Why I love Asus and stick to it? 1) Taiwanese entity. Most of world electronics is built by Taiwan: Foxconn & TSMC are Taiwanese. These people have tremendous craftsmanship. 2) Reliability: My old Zenbook survived 4 years of abuse. I use my machines in a pretty unsympathetic manner. My laptop once fell down one floor and it still worked for a year after it without any functional damage. That's incredible! 3) VFM: No other brand provides you more for your money than Asus does across the entire spectrum of their products. I use their phone, laptop, display etc. What I was looking for: 1)Thin & light: Laptop under 1.2kg since my old Zenbook weighed 1.1kg. 2) Thunderbolt 3 with display & charging since I work on big screens at home and work which support T3. 3) i7 10th gen. 4) 16GB RAM 5) Thermal efficiency: There's no point having all that power if your thermals are not good enough and you can't possibly utilise it because the laptop heats up. That's the problem with similarly spec Acer, MSI and even Dell laptops. The geekbench scores were significantly lower than the Zenbook. 6) Something under a lakh 7) No blingy gold design. I wanted a clean looking laptop in grey. 8) Battery life of 7-8 hours What I love about the UX425 1) Performance: I run 150-200 chrome tabs on 6-7 desktops in parallel along with Powerpoint and Excel sheets. Never shut down the laptop and it works flawlessly. 2) Battery life: I don't take the charging cable with to work. Because I can charge it with a normal T3 charger and because it works a good 8-9 hours with my workload too. 3) Keyboard & trackpad: My biggest issue with the earlier Zenbook was the trackpad and the keyboard. This is a 100 times better trackpad and what an amazing keyboard. 4) Aesthetics: It looks amazing and feels so much more premium than other ultrabooks in the range. What I don't like: 1) Needed one more USB port. I attach an external mouse and keyboard on my workstations and have to carry a USB hub every single time 2) The USB to LAN port supports only 100mbps. It is a major drawback because I'm paying for a 1Gbps connection and can only use 100mbps over a LAN cable!! 3) Could have been thinner 4) Bulky charger: The old gen Zenbook came with a Mobile Type single unit charger instead of a bulky two unit one. 5) Display brightness: I wish they launched the 450-nits display variant in India.. although the 300-nits matte display is good enough, sometimes you wish you could have more in outdoor conditions. 6) Asus recently announced 11-th gen version with Screenpad, under 1kg and MX450 graphics. Although it is priced at 1.25-1.3L, I don't like the fact that a month after buying a brand new laptop, there's another one on the block. Overall, this is too much value for 95k.. there's nothing else that comes close, quite honestly. The XPS is 1.3-1.5L, the Spectre is about 1.5L and the MSI & Acer laptops are not a match in performance. Just go for it!
