Worth the money
I've been using it for 3 days now, gotta say, this thing is a great performer. Games like Forza Horizon 4 and Fortnite are playable at 70fps on max settings. The cooling system on this thing is insane. On turbo mode, which you can only enable when the charging cable is plugged in, the meticulously designed vents at the back of the laptop start working at full force. It draws out all the heat out of the laptop and keeps it cool as hell! Bootup takes around 15 seconds on mine,but it could be way better if you free up some space and clean the junkies from time to time (I've got around 50gb of space left) Edit: I did some cleaning and freed up around 100gb space, boot time reduced to 11 seconds! It's better to install an HDD and keep all the heavy files in it. There's a connector provided in the box for storage expansion. There's also provision for ram upgrades as this comes with a dual channel motherboard. This also comes with so many ROG software (in the armoury crate) that you can tweak the gpu/cpu to make the laptop do it's best. There's just so much to it. Overall, i can say that I'm fully satisfied with my purchase except for three little things, though it doesn't bother me much but i guess it needs to be mentioned anways: Speakers: Now don't get me wrong, the speakers on these are pretty decent. But it could have been a bit louder. Had to use Sonic Studio on Movie mode to make the vocals be heard better. Gaming mode brings out more detail but the volume reduces drastically. Webcam: This laptop doesn't have one. Now i know that asking for a webcam in a gaming laptop may be too much but in today's world i guess it's kinda needed sometimes as carrying a webcam everywhere is not possible. Price: Other laptops like lenovo and acer offering the same specs at 15k-20k less seemed odd at first. But i know that i paid a premium that was well deserved.
