User Reviews
Not flawless... but it gets close
I've been using this laptop for over three months now, without any major issues. I've tested the hardware against The Witcher 3 (which is the most demanding game of its generation) with all DLCs installed, and with maxed out graphics at 1080p. The result was amazing to watch and play. I'm pretty sure that the GTX 960M won't do very well at 2160p, but the 4k screen resolution was always a bonus feature for me anyway. What I wanted was a portable gaming rig that would be future-proof for at least 3-4 years in terms of gaming at 1080p. And that is exactly what this laptop provides you, at around 60-90k less than what an Alienware with equivalent specs would cost. The subtle styling of the build is deliberate, and aesthetically pleasing, at least to me, someone who does not like the gawdy barrage of lights that an Alienware is. There are only two minor flaws in the entirety of this laptop, and they are so minor that a little vigilance can take care of them. The power button is way too close to the keyboard, and it may get pressed accidentally when using the numpad. However, with practice, this issue has gone away. The other issue is that the back cover is extraordinarily prone to collecting fingerprints and will need occasional cleaning with a screen-cleaning solution and a good quality microfiber cloth. Neither of these are dealbreakers, and this laptop is one amazing deal. Can't-miss product, in my opinion.

First things first, delivery deserves a 5-star! Was 2 days earlier, delivered without any hassle. The laptop itself is amazing! Value over-delivered for this price. Pros: - 4K Display (although, there were scaling issues in come apps) - not-much heating - dedicated USB quick charging port that works when the laptop is off. - handles any kind of heavy load with ease - bootup in 10 seconds or less, thanks to an amazing ssd - Program installs, extraction generally any kind of processing is blazing fast - thanks to i76700hq - you'll never run out of memory. - lighting and red-theme is beautiful - surprisingly slim for a gaming laptop with an optical drive, but a little on the heavier side Cons: - the laptop is a fingerprint magnet and the impressions take some effort to clean up - the battery averages about 2.5 to 3 hours on regular use. Not the best. - RAM is maxed out at 16 GB, you can't go further - display is not the brightest, but good enough As of now, there's no other laptop in this price range that beats this beast spec-wise. This is a monster. Go for it.
