Horrible product and pathetic service
I purchased this product on the 30th of August 2014. S.No NXMEPSI00742120A573400. It's been only a month since the purchase and the machine has already started giving problems. On the 27th of september, the laptop did not power on and on placing a complain with the cc, a techician arrived at my residence to check the issue. I was told that the mother board needs to be replaced (less than a month after purchase). He took the laptop to the service centre, and I was told that they'll send the fixed machine back within 2-3 days (by 1st October). However, it's been over 10 days and the date is 8th October today. I still haven't received my machine. Upon enquiring, I was told that the new motherboard has been ordered, but hasn't arrived from the Acer warehouse. I'm extremely disappointed with both the product and service response by Acer. A brand new product having mother board issues is certainly not acceptable. And taking such a long time to fix the issue especially when the product is in warranty and hardly a month old is even more disappointing. I'm a college student and I purchased this laptop especially for my studies which has taken a huge beating because of the service provider's inefficiency. I jus missed the 30 day replacement guarantee by a day or two. Even now if there's any way I could return the machine and get a replacement or refund, I'd be glad to do so. I had heard many praises of the brand and so I invested my precious savings in it. But im extremely disappointed with both flipkart and the manufacturer for selling such 3rd grade products.

Fist time you open the laptop and try to configure it. What the hell!! keyboard keys are not working..!!! Wow, I received a faulty laptop and struggling for a replacement. I thought online shopping will save my time, but I'm wrong. Guys, don't buy product from here and best to walk down to seller's shop. Its been 3rd day after raising the compliant with flipkart and finally received a call from them today after multiple followups. Wit, no replacement yet. I'm hoping for the replacement and as of now no guarantee on this. I'm being asked to wait another 3 days for Acer technician to confirm "Yes, indeed keyboard is not working" and then flipkart may think for replacement. you guys really want this struggle after paying the money? Think twice..

Would highly recommend this if you are looking for an excellent, reliable and decent specs at a reasonable price. Battery life is good made for work on the go. The laptop is a good one for your daily use and comes with Win8. Display is wonderful. Processing speed is fast and video playback is great, Sometimes you feel like you are using a high end machine. Its been a month now, I have transferred all the data from my old machine to this and its just working fine
