Excellent but...
I've bought it for Rs.46,350/-. I had been using HP laptop with AMD A8 quad core processor. Performance wise it was good but it was like a heater, used to shutdown frequently, and as obviously the battery backup was very poor. Then I've searched the flipkart for laptops and of all, Acer laptops had the best ratings on almost all laptops though the number of ratings were a bit less. Those ratings aside, this was the only laptop series with the upto date specs for the affordable price. Let me share my experience with this laptop. Pros: --> Design : May not be a competetor for the sleekish and light weight machines but much better than previous gen machines. Its sturdy thanks to the solid build quality and the whole chasis at keyboard and palm resting area is real metal which I like very much. --> Keyboard : The keyboard is on par with other standard laptops. And yes it comes with backlit. --> Processor : It comes with 8 GB of RAM and Intel 8th gen core i5 (8250U), which is a quad core processor while all the previous gen i5 processors are dual core (excluding overclockable ones, which are costly). --> GPU : Its loaded with the Nvidia 940mx gpu, 2GB DDR5 ram. mx150 would have a been a nice welcome though. The gpu is normally inactive unless needed for gaming which is an advantage for battery life. The gpu is good for casual gamers. --> Battery : Gives an excellent battery backup of 5 hrs of regular usage. If you use it for studying (without wireless connection), it can go beyond 8 hrs. --> Surprisingly, Office 2016 comes preloaded with full license and Gigabit ethernet. --> Dissipation of heat: Its almost a no-heat machine for regular usage which satisfies my most important criteria. Cons: --> Display : The display is full hd and it is good for the price point of view but the viewing angles and quality is just average as it is not an IPS panel. Since it is full hd (1920 x 1080) rather than the normal (1370 x 720 ) resolution, the font in some apps is not crisp and clear. --> Speakers : The position of speakers is not proper and the sound is just average. --> Camera : The web camera quality is below average I just wish acer has included a better one as it is not much pricey in the present smartphone era. --> It comes preloaded with a lot of bloatware but the good thing is all of it can be uninstalled. --> Acer needs to do some performance tweaking for browser usage whhile multiple tabs are opened. Conclusion : It does worth every penny with the latest hardware you can find in any other laptop within 50k. Absence of DVD Rom is a good thing in a way as it ads sturdiness to the build. Though it has some cons, can forgive for the price point. I strongly suggest considering the 8th gen variant of the i5 processor. You can go ahead. Update: Reduced one star. The boot times are very slow though it is equipped with i5 8th gen processor. Even the wakeup times from sleep are also dead slow. Acer needs to fix about boot code lag. Also, while watching a video, after some time, noise is generated in the microphones. Hope Acer fixes these.

This is the best i5 8th gen laptop in this range I am using it from one month didn't faced any problem like heating. 1) I tried games like far-cry 4, crisis 3, and many more every thing is running smoothly, 2) screen i got is 1080p full HD( it was not mentioned in details). 3) Total graphic memory memory is 6Gb( 4 intel + 2 nvdia) so u won't be facing any problem unless u r going for very very high end gaming. 4) keyboard is backlit(it is also not mentioned in details) 5) Battery backup is pretty good easily around 6-7hr if u r not using it in turbo mode. laptop is very slim so there is no cd/dvd slot go for it

Worth the money
It was a super delivery by flipkart. I ordered it on Saturday and the product was delivered by monday. It was well packed. Coming to the laptop. Its worth the money. I have been using it for 15-20 days so far so good. It comes with backlit keyboard and full had display. I havent done any hardcore gaming so far. I have been using softwares like photoshop, illustrator which run very smoothly. Specs are great for 47k. Only concern is diplay is fine not the best. Edit Review: After 4 months: 1. Some issues with the keyboard. Probably will have to replace it. 2. Tried GTA 5 , CS Go, Just cause 3. Works pretty well . 3. have been Using it quiet alot for solid works 3D design.
