Simply awesome
I have been using Acer products for a very long time. This is my 3rd Acer laptop and this one I brought it for my dad. I'll keep it informative and brief. Below ratings are according to the price point and value for money purchase. 1. Screen - 10/10 (Just WOW!) 2. Built Quality - 9/10 (Materials used ain't cheap looking. It's a minimalistic and simple looking laptop.) 3. Keyboard - 7.5/10 (Have used and seen better by Acer brand itself. Keyboard size and number pad are smaller.) 4. Mouse Trackpad - 7/10 (Have used and seen better by Acer brand itself.) 5. Battery - 9/10 (Way better than what other brands are offering in the same segment/configuration/laptop components.) 6. Weight - 9/10 (Its pretty lite according to me. I would also say that it's thin enough.) 7. Aesthetics - 8/10 (Even though this is all Black, the surface smudges are visible and frequent cleaning might be required.) 8. Performance - 8.5/10 (It comes with Windows 10 pre-install authentic which you can link with your Microsoft account. Problem is OS itself sucks up 2.4 GB ram out of 4 GB. Its good enough for daily & simple use.) Tip - Use Firefox as your main browser as it takes less ram space compare to Chrome. 9. Initial Set Up Configuration - 9/10 - (Took approx 1.5 hours for the first time setup. Including 1909 Windows update, unboxing, previous laptop file transfer, basic software installation, settings, etc) 10. Charger - 9.5/10 - (Stock charger is of smaller size. This helps in portability.) UPDATE - 26, June 2020 1. Audio - output is low but let's be practical, we all know that laptop's audio is better with headphones or external speakers. 2. This laptop has exhaust vents on bottom of the laptop. So I highly recommend using this laptop on hard surface or else heating issues might trouble you, specially while charging. 3. Camera quality is so-so. I will still stick to 5 rating as it's value for money purchase. It's very well capable of handling the job and does it well. UPDATE : 5/8/2020 Going solid guys. And finally its back in stock. Go ahead with this purchase, the price is still good. Conclusion : Absolutely value for money purchase. 10/10 Stay Safe & Take Care! I used sanitizer spray on the main Flipkart box and also the Acer box before opening it. The device is all good and working perfectly fine but AVOID directly spraying it on laptop and charger.
