Works exactly like waxing ! Pain factor : Yes , it does hurt but after regular usage it becomes normal ! Pain is very similar to waxing ! Used it on hands and legs ! Pro tip : Exfoliate before epilating ! To reduce pain stretch the skin and then start epilating ! After using it make sure you moisturize. Shaver : Works like charm ! Works well for thick hairs as well ! Epilator : It takes time but worth the effort , Sometimes , in first go hair might not get pulled off , you have to use it 2 3 times for same area , have patience if using for first time ! Removes thick hair as well ! Shorter the hair , less the pain ! Definitely, wayy less messy than waxing ! Use shaver a day before and then epilate the next day! Roller cap does give a feel of pain relief! Overall , a very good product at this price range! Totally worth it !

Well before using the product it's important to understand the difference between epilation, shaving and waxing. I myself didn't know. I previously had used Philips Santinelle, which was a shaver. So coming back to Braun, as it's epilator it works very slow as compared to a shaver. So keep that in mind. Yes it works gently and is thus time taking than a shaver, but it's quite smooth. At first I didn't realise how much i should press this on my skin. This is figured out after first use. So just be gentle in first use and you will figure out. And of course at has a shaver head too. But as is said epilation results into hair coming after gap, then this will seems better. Eventually I was able to do my upper lips and chin as well. In case you like my review, I can update it further about did I really see the difference between my hair growth !
