Yu Yureka To Get Cyanogen OS 12 Update

Micromax mobiles and Yu had come together to work some wonders in the smartphone segment and as a consequence of the joint effort, we got a brilliant smartphone Micromax Yu Yureka. Yu Yureka is a LTE enabled smartphone which inboxes a Snapdragon 615, 1.5 GHz octa-core processor and has 2 GB RAM. Micromax Yu Yureka features an Adreno 405 GPU for an excellent graphic performance. Yu Yureka packs a 13 MP rear camera with touch focus and face detection with LED flash. A 5 MP front facing camera can be onboard as well.

Recent news for the device brings a reason to cheer up for thee Yureka users. The current software platform boasted by Yureka is equivalent to Android Kitkat. And as reported earlier, there was a promise made to soon upgrade the Cyanogen OS to a newer version based on Android Lollipop. And the promise seems to be on the way to be successfully kept. As reported by Co-founder and CEO of Yu, Rahul Sharma this new firmware update has been sent to Google for verification and approval.

Another smartphone, OnePlus One has also partnered with Cyanogen OS which had recently posted about the OS update which is equivalent to Android Lollipop and is likely to be called as Oxygen OS. This firmware upgrade of Cyanogen OS will upgrade it from version 10 to version 12. Micromax and Yu are reportedly working on their next product in India which is to be called Yuphoria, which will come preloaded with the latest Cyanogen 12 OS.
