This update introduces to you a very new feature that Youtube has never shown up even in the desktop site for the users. So this is exclusively for you. So just your install this update and also don’t forget to turn on your unknown source option because you are not getting it from Play Store.
So enable it by just going to ‘Settings>Security>Turn on unknown sources’. That’s it, open the .apk and just install the update.
Now the new feature which this update gives to its users, is the stats for nerds, which is a very new effort by Youtube to give all technical stats about the video you are viewing.
To turn this feature on, go to ‘Youtube app>Settings>General>Enable Stats’. This can be done only after updating to Youtube v10.08.
It also adds a feature of vibrating notifications and tear-down like audio track recording with cross-fade, new search filters and testing for video filters.
