Chinese smartphone maker, Xiaomi has announced the global unveiling of its new smartphone on April 25 at an event to be held at Wuhan University, China. The news comes straight from the horse’s mouth, Xiaomi’s VP Wang Xiang, who has also shared some camera samples of the upcoming phone on his twitter handle. Both, Weibo teaser and tweet from VP, however, didn’t mention the name of the phone, but we are counting on the release of either Xiaomi flagship phone Mi 7 or the successor or the Mi 6X (which will launch as Mi A2 in India).

Xiaomi Mi 7 Specifications (Expected)

The Mi 7 is the most-awaited smartphone of the year and people are waiting for its launch since the start of the year. It will succeed company’s last year Mi 6 and expected to feature 6.01-inch 18:9 OLED display, octa-core Snapdragon 845 chipset, up to 8GB of RAM, and Android Oreo with MIUI 9. The latest leak also hints at the presence of an under-display fingerprint sensor on the phone.
