Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A On The Cards? Leaked Packaging Photo Says So

A new Xiaomi phablet called the Redmi Note 5A might be on the cards, after a photograph showing several packages of the purported new device from the Chinese manufacturer went viral on the Internet.

The said image shows various packages of the phone, red in color and featuring the phone’s name and the company logo (on the top right corner), and comes a week after the phone was first brought to the fore with a few of its possible specifications (read more).

Coming back to the image, it did not reveal anything else but did confirm that the Note 5A is definitely in the offing.

According to the list of possible specifications of the tentative device that were leaked last week, it is likely to come sporting a 5.5-inch Full HD display, and would be powered by a Snapdragon 630 processor.

The Note 5A would boast of a metal unibody, while the placement of the fingerprint sensor on the phone also appears to have shifted from the back to the front (as opposed the recent Xiaomi phones to have come this way).

Rounding up the list of the probable specifications is an Adreno 508 GPU, Bluetooth 5.0 and USB Type-C connectivity, a 3,790mAh battery (with QuickCharge 4.0), as well as a 16MP/13MP (back/front) camera combination.

Regarding the storage and the RAM, the phone is likely to be outed in the form of two variants (3GB RAM/32GB ROM and 4GB RAM/64GB ROM).
