With the majority of consumers still siding with traditional offline retail stores, online exclusive smartphone makers are gradually pushing their products offline. Xiaomi, a well-established online brand, has introduced a new Redmi 3s variant, the Redmi 3s Plus that shall retail at offline stores for 9,499 INR.

The Xiaomi Redmi 3s Plus is the most expensive Redmi 3s variant, but specs-wise, it lies somewhere in the middle of Redmi 3s and Redmi 3s Prime.

Apart from 2GB RAM (vs 3GB in Redmi 3s Prime) other specs and features are exactly same as the top-end online variant. The bumped up price makes sense considering the dynamics of offline distribution channels and added logistics and promotional costs.
