Specs Leaks: Xiaomi Mi Note 2 To Feature Dual Cameras And Android 7.0 Nougat

Xiaomi is not only working on Mi 5s but also on the flagship phablet – the Mi Note 2 at least that’s what recently surfaced a batch of pictures and specs sheet suggests. A number of high-quality renders including phone’s box and hardware specification have surfaced on the popular Chinese site Weibo. The authenticity of these renders can still be questioned until  something officially comes directly from Xiaomi.

xiaomi-mi-note-2-2-1 Speculations suggest that the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 may arrive in two variants. One of them will be powered by a Snapdragon 820 chipset paired with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage. It will feature a 5.5-inch full HD OLED display. On the other hand, the premium variant of Mi Note 2 likely to boast a Snapdragon 821SoC along with 6GB RAM, 128/256GB internal storage. It will bear a 5.7-inch 2K OLED display with a running resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels and Force Touch.

The rumors mill has it, the Mi Note 2 to flaunt a dual camera setup at the rear side. Up front, it will use a 5-megapixel to capture selfies and video calls. All the power related needs will be addressed by a 4100mAh battery. It is said to flaunt a 6.5 slim waist and will be announced in Black, White and Pearl powder colors. Both variants of the Mi Note 2 arrive running on MIUI 8 based on Android 7.0 Nougat.

The rumored specifications of Mi 5s and Mi Note 2 appears to be more or less the same. It will be interesting to see which one turns out to be correct. Xiaomi is expected to host an event in China on October 14 where one of these two devices can see the daylight.
