Xiaomi has launched its third iteration of Mi Mix mobile today in China. There has been a lot of buzz surrounding the device for quite some time now, and finally, the Mi Mix 3 gets to see the light of the day.
Interestingly, this is the first phone to include 10 GB RAM. Xiaomi also claims that the Mix 3 device has the highest screen-to-body ratio compared to the current flagship smartphones.
Mi Mix 3 Features
The Mix 3 boasts of a huge 6.39-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 and a screen-to-body ratio of 93.4 percent. The currently launched version will feature Snapdragon 845 Octa-core chipset bundled with Adreno 630 GPU. The phone pushed the envelope by launching a 10GB RAM variant with 256GB internal storage. Other than that 8GB RAM+256GB internal,8GB RAM+128G ROM and 6GB+ 128GB internal have also been launched. It will be interesting to see how Xiaomi uses the extra memory to optimise the performance.
Mix 3 features dual cameras on the rear with the primary one being a 12MP f/1.8 aperture sensor while the second one is also a 12MP sensor with f/2.4 aperture and will be used for depth sensing. The front camera, however, has an interesting sliding arrangement which ensures that the cameras can be brought up when required, mechanically. The front camera module features a 24MP primary camera and a 2MP depth sensor. The front module supports features such as AI Beauty and AI face unlock. This phone also features super slow motion video capturing at 960 fps with the rear camera setup.

Mi Mix 3 will run on Android Oreo 8.1 based MIUI 10 and will also feature a dedicated hardware button to summon Xiao Ai assistant. It is powered by a 4000 mAh battery and supports fast charging. Mi Mix 3 provides wireless charging support as well. The phone will be available in three color variants: Blue, Green, and Black.

The 10GB+ 256GB variant has been priced at 4,999 Yuan while the 8GB+256GB,8GB+128GB,6GB+ 128GB have been priced at 3,999 Yuan,3599 Yuan and 3299 Yuan respectively.
