Apart from Smartphones, Xiaomi is also known for its Mi Ecosystem sub-brand back home which the Chinese manufacturer is set to introduce it to India. Xiaomi has sent out media invites for an event on September 21 in which it plans to launch Mi Air Purifier 2. It will be Xiaomi’s first product from its Mi Ecosystem to launch in India.
Mi India head Manu Kumar Jain took to Twitter to inform Mi fans about upcoming launch event and invited everyone to witness the live webcast which commences at 12PM on September 21.

Mi Air Purifier 2 Features
Xiaomi first introduced the Mi AirPurifier 2 in China last year in November 2015. The advantage this Air Purifier has over its predecessor is its compact form factor and lightweight design. Its carpet area is less than a normal A4 size paper. As per the company claims, it is capable of delivering 310m3/h clean air. The Mi Air Purifier 2 can eliminate up to 99.7 percent of the PM2.5 atmospheric pollutant in less than an hour.

The mi Air Purifer2 employs a single motor with dual mixed booster fans and triple-layer filter to eliminate harmful particles from room air. Xiaomi claims, this air cleaner is 58% more power efficient and makes 11 percent less noise in comparison to the first generation Air Purifier.

What puts this air cleaner in a totally different league is its ability to be controlled remotely using a smartphone running Mi Smart House App. Xiaomi is expected to announce Mi AirPurifier2 India price at the launch event on September 21. In China, it is retailing at RMB 699 (Approx Rs. 7000)
