We finally have a date for the launch of Xiaomi’s upcoming flagship. The poster for Mi 10 launch has leaked, which reveals the venue in Beijing and the date as of February 11. If it is true, the launch will clash with the premiere of the Samsung Galaxy S20 series.

The poster also gives us a look at the rear side of the alleged Mi 10. It has a fresh taste. The camera panel is part of an elongated strip aligned to the left edge. The array has two lenses followed by an LED flash, a third sensor (rumored to be 108MP), a purported laser autofocus unit and a fourth lens.

The devices are shown in two colors – Black and Pearl White. That’s it. There’s nothing else the leak brings new to the table.

Now the authenticity of the leak is still up in the air. As such you are advised not to take the details as gospel.

Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro Purported Specs and Prices Have Leaked

December 31, 2019, 11:03 A.M.

We came to know of Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro’s existence at the beginning of this month. And later the Mi 10 series was confirmed by the company Co-Founder and Vice-Chairman Lin Bin at Qualcomm Snapdragon Tech Summit 2019. It was brought to our knowledge that the Pro model will bear the latest Snapdragon 865 SoC. Soon after that, we heard through the grapevine about their capacious battery. Well, now a fresh leak tells us the size to be 4500 mAh – for both Xiaomi Mi 10 trims.

Yes, a massive leak via the Chinese microblogging website Weibo tells us a big deal about the Mi 10 phones. But, be wary the post clearly presents the leak as ostensible. So, take it with a grain of salt. Regardless, it opens up a bevy of details which if true, should prove as a significant upgrade over the predecessor.

Xiaomi Mi 10 Purported Specs

The leak reiterates something we already knew – Snapdragon 865. Now as a top-brass handset, one would expect the rest of the spec sheet to be equally maxed out. Let’s see what the leak tells us. As per it, the Mi 10 will sport the trendy 90Hz AMOLED panel. This will scale 6.5-inches corner to corner. That said, its frontier look is still a mystery. It hasn’t spilled any beans on the selfie ouster also.

Nevertheless, the sensor arrangement at the back is said to be a quartet. The primary one is probably a Sony IMX686 sensor. Other incumbents are apparently a 20MP ultrawide snapper, a 12MP (30x digital zoom) telephoto lens, and lastly a depth and macro unit at the fag end.

Further, the leak reveals a massive 4500mAh battery backed by a 40W fast charger. It will allegedly support 30W wireless fast charging and 10W reverse wireless charging. A few other mentioned details include dual-mode 5G, NFC, and a linear vibration motor. It might ship in three memory configurations viz. 8GB RAM + 128GB, 8GB RAM + 256GB, and 12GB RAM + 256GB. Although tampered, one could ferret out the prices to be somewhere within the 3999 Yuan (about Rs. 40,800) bracket.

Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro Alleged Specs

The specifics on the Pro model is limited compared to the standard variant. Being a Pro, Snapdragon 865 with 5G support is highly likely. Another similarity in the internals is said to be in the battery capacity. The leak notes a faster 66W wired charging along with 40W wireless charging. Although there is no word on the reverse charging support, we expect it to be there considering the other one has it.

This one will reportedly herald a 108MP camera at the back, accompanied by a 48MP, 12MP, and 8MP sensors. Honoring the Pro moniker, the memory configuration will be maxed up to 12GB RAM + 128GB, 12GB RAM + 256GB, and 12GB RAM + 512GB.

Its prices are listed as 3799 Yuan (~Rs. 38804) for 128GB model, 4099 Yuan (~Rs. 41,868) for the 256GB model, and 4499 Yuan (~Rs. 45954) for the top-end variant.

The current fastest charging option available out there is the 65W on the Oppo Reno Ace. Will Xiaomi able to trump that with the supposedly 66W adapter? So far, we have got refuting reports on the same. For what its worth, an active leakster says the Mi 10 series as capable of charging full under 35 minutes.

The same source speculates the battery size to fall in the 4500 to 4800mAh range. We expect more details to surface as time goes by, which will shape a confident image of the Mi 10s.
