Xiaomi has today launched a slew of smart products in China, including Mi Smart Camera, Mi Smart Scale 2, Mi Driving recorder, Mi Router Pro and even a Mi Walkie Talkie.
Mi Walkie Talkie
Xiaomi’s new Mi Walkie Talkie can be used to communicate over UHF and VHF bands and will go on sale today starting $36 (roughly Rs. 2400).
It is equipped with a 160 x100 pixel LCD screen, FM radio, 2600mAh battery (8 days worth of battery backup), and a micro USB port. You can also directly share your location using the Mi Walkie Talkie.
Mi Car Recorder
This $50 recorder employs a 1/2.9-inch Sony sensor with wide angle f/1.8 aperture optics and, according to Xiaomi, can record clear 1080p videos even at night.
Mi Smart Cam
Mi Smart Cam is basically poised to double as a nanny cam. It can record wide-angle night vision footage up to 10 meters at 20fps. It can except MicroSD storage and also engage two-way communication. Xiaomi has priced it at Approx US $29 (roughly Rs. 1930).
Mi Smart Scale 2
The new Mi Smart Scale 2 is just 14.56mm thick and includes a hidden LED numerical display. Besides body weight, it can also analyze BMI, Muscle mass, basal metabolism, visceral fat grade, bone mass, etc.
Xiaomi says that it comes with a Stainless Steel 303L electrode pad for a more accurate measurement, is made of ABS material which makes it quite durable. In China, Mi Smart Scale 2 is priced at approx Approx US $29 (roughly Rs. 1930).
Xiaomi Mi Router HD and Mi Router Pro
The 4×4 MU-MIMO Mi Router HD supports is powered by Qualcomm IPQ8064 network processor and supports 802.11ac Wi-Fi. Within its Aluminium housing, the router houses USB 3.0 interface, LAN port, and WAN port.
Other features include 3.5 inch (1TB / 64MB cache or 8TB / 256MB cache) / SATA3.0 interface HDD, 512MB DDR3 RAM, 256M SLC Nand Flash and 4 high-gain PCB array omnidirectional antennas.
The Mi Router Pro, on the other hand, is powered by MediaTek MT7621A network processor paired with 512MB DDR3 RAM, and 256M SLC Nand Flash.
