Xiaomi 13 5G & 13 Lite 5G Pricing Leaks Ahead of MWC 2023

Xiaomi 13 series is all set to make its global debut On February 26 at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2023. It is also being said that the Xiaomi Pro 13 will be launched on the very same day. The series works on the flagship Qualcomm 8 Gen 2 processor. In a recent development, the pricing details of the upcoming smartphones have surfaced online alongside the specifications and features.

Popular tipster Roland Quandt suggested that the Xiaomi 13 Lite’s 128GB storage variant will debut in the market at EUR 499, which converts to Rs 41,300. On the other hand, the 8GB RAM variant of Xiaomi 13 global with 256GB internal storage will be launched for EUR 999, which is Rs 88,320. The Chinese variant of the smartphone has four color variants – Mountain Blue, Ceramic White, Flora Green, and Ceramic Black. Expectations are that the global variant will also have similar color variants.

What about the Indian pricing?

Coming to the Indian pricing, let’s clear the confusion first. The Xiaomi 13 Chinese variant is available at a starting price of CNY 4,299, which converts to Rs 51,000. The same device will be launched in the global market at a price of EUR 999. At this point in time, we are skeptical about the pricing of the smartphone in India. However, one thing we can say here is that the device will not be priced aggressively high in the Indian market.

Xiaomi 13 5G expected specifications

If the Xiaomi 13 global variant is going to be a replica of the Chinese variant, then we already know what we will get to see in terms of specifications and features. The Xiaomi 13 5G will feature a 6.36-inch OLED display coupled with a 120Hz refresh rate. The handset will also include HDR10+ support and 1900 nits of peak brightness. It will run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor paired with 12GB RAM and 512GB internal storage in the high-end variant. For the purpose of security, the device will get an in-display fingerprint scanner.

In terms of optics, the smartphones will flaunt a triple rear camera system consisting of a 50MP primary shooter, a 10MP telephoto shooter, and a 12MP ultra wide-angle shooter. For the sake of selfies and video calls, the device will get a 32MP front snapper. It will draw power from a 4500mAh battery with 67W fast charging support, 10W wireless reverse charging support, and 50W wireless charging support.
